I kinda think MA is on something. Everyone knows that Honda offered CS 15m Euro/season and he didn't take it.

That kind of money is chicken .... to Audi, they spend that much developing a headlight FFS.

You will see an offer 20m Euro + by Ducati to get Stoner back in.

If Carmello is going out around the same time it may just happen.

I would love to see it Mr Roo but i don't think Carmelo is going to give up his crown anytime soon.

Most of you folks can't read. Point out to me where I say Crutchlow could win on the Ducati?

I quite clearly say that I would bet that Crutchlow would have a better chance than Dovi. But Stoner is the only rider who could actually win on it.

Dovi is a great rider but he is a metro boy and doesn't have the balls. The only current rider who would have a real chance of winning on the Ducati in my opinion is Marquez.

I think it is a bike that can win. Why? Because if Stoner rode it he would win on it. So therefore it is a bike that could win.

Line Stoner up on the Ducati this year at PI and try and find a bookie that would give someone shorter odds than Stoner for the victory.

As far as you all claiming Stoner will never be back. None of you could guess what Stoner would do before he did at any stage in his career anyway so what gives you this fabulous insight in to his state of mind now. The fact that you all claim it will never happen gives more credibility to it happening. I doubt any of you have had a pre-emptive thought in your life. ....... Pol aint worthy of the yam seat unless he get's his competitors out of his head.

They are fcuking with him and his head.

At best give him Bradl's seat on results so far.

Soz Cliche it's how I see it ;)

Finally got to watch it on tv with moody n ryders comments.

Seems they are thinking along the same lines I was 9 days ago if one would listen to moto2 commentary.

Scott Redding to tech 3 would be sweeter than Pol IMO.

Would prefer Cal though been me ;)

Sorry Bro - but I think everyone's reading comprehension is quite adequate. What people are saying is that the bike is not a race winning bike, except in the hands of an extraordinary rider. And not it's not a case of Stoner hagiographic fan-boyism, it's just a widely held opinion that the "winning factor" had everything to do with Stoner and almost nothing to do with the Ducati. If the bike was win-capable, why the hell have all the talented Ducati riders over the last 5 years had complete .... results?

It's about time they get rid of Hayden..... here's hoping !! Sorry Jumkie, your boy's been leeching long enough, it's time !! bahahahahaha. Serious though, dude's overrated. Remember Dani whooped his ... in 'speed' in Dani's first year. I guess consistency does pay off, but then we all know better when it comes to RACING.

Big hint that its done and dusted after Cals comments on the BBC?

Something along the lines of "the chance has passed"?

Because as Prezosi said years ago. Stoner rides the bike as it is meant to be ridden. Everyone else it is riding it how they want to ride. Do I know exactly what this means? No. But does it have meaning and relevance? Yes.

God I hope Redding takes the championship

He'll be in consideration if he takes the title. Other than that the rumors are that his team in Moto2 will move up.

That I believe was Ducati's spin... but one wonders how it is that Ducati managed to build a bike so specifically to match Stoner's riding style, and if just for the sake of argument, everybody took that as gospel, one might ask; what geniuses at Ducati R&D were thinking when they spent so much money, time and research to create a bike so idiosyncratic that it would prove to be only suitable to one rider out of hundreds. Stoner has said many times that his "technique" for winning on the Duc, was essentially saving the bike from constant losses of the front end, and that over time, the stress from the physical and mental wear and tear of out-riding the bike's chassis deficiencies was a major contributor to the poor health that plagued him during the seasons post 2007.
