If Stoner went back to Ducati, we would be back to where he was, a few race wins and lots of Timex moments in the gravel. I have no doubt there will be a mental meltdown this season, Stoner is unbeatable when it's going his way, but he will be crying like a child and blaming the world when he gets pushed in a race an falls off. If Jorge starts winning, he will be allergic to nappies or some other lame excuse and go home with his tail between his legs for a few races. Lets be honest, if he could win on anything, where are his 125 an 250 titles?

At this moment in time Casey is the fastest out there, but, when all is not right, for gods sake, even Pedrosa beat him to a 250 title! And the worst rider ever according to Barry et all took the title back from him and kept it in 2008!

To paraphrase some bloke called casey stoner, you guys shouldn't believe what you make up.

dude. Let us know if you catch any...

Basspete, you are a moron.

You are so clearly against Casey for the silliest of reasons. So your boy VR not going too well, better take it out on his bitter rival CS.

Whingeing Scotsman

LOL Basspete caught one though !

Casey back at Duc LOL......

He's not fishing. He's pissed off because his rider on the 'billion' dollar Ducati is cruising round with backmarkers. I'd be pretty disappinted too.

Stats:20 race starts, 1 lucky podium. Doesnt read too well.

Arch nemesis: 20 race starts, 19 podiums, 12 wins. Would be on a huge podium streak if said back marker didn't torpedo him at Jerez.

Stoner would never go back to Ducati, but if he did its fairly obvious what the result would be.

The sport needs Rossi to be back at the top but he's been busy the last 18 months eating the biggest serving of humble pie ever dished up to one man.

We do?

Ticket numbers are stady, viewing figures are up. I suspect we don't need him as much as he needs us.

As much as i love watching Casey control most races from the front and the cameraderie he, Lorenzo and Pedrosa share i'd love to see some agro and fireworks at the front each race a la Catalunya 07 or Laguna 08. Lorenzo and especially Pedrosa are maybe a poofteenth behind Casey in ability and i think its starting to really show at the moment. Two victories in a row in Lorenzo's back yard with visible chatter etc.

I want to see Stoner go to Yamaha. Another record to be broken in that.

This above would be the icing on the cake LOL........

The sport needs VR ? I admire and enjoyed parts of his reign but it will live on just as Basketball did when Jordan retired, Pele/Maradonna in football etcetcetcetc but for now I'll enjoy even more one of our own be the GOAT !

"And then we heard Valentino sounding happy after the race, which is incredible to me considering that he was 28" behind the winner. I say it again: if I was a manager at Ducati, I would try and get Casey Stoner to return, offering him a boatload of money. Perhaps it wouldn't be possible for any number of reasons, but who else can they go for? Everyone is afraid to ride the Ducati, and his statements about wanting a one year deal make me think he's on the market. If I were in their shoes, I would try it."

Hahahahahaaaa 'and pigs fly' Valentino can't and never will pilot the Duck like Stoner did!!! And also Stoner will never ever go back to the hopeless Duck 'he’s had enough of motogp and all the rule changes...he feels that it’s just not a level playing field anymore and he’s hanging up his helmet and boots and tragically for all of us 'his talents' ...I am livered and so disappointed that throughout Stoners carrier he has always had to live under VR’s reputation and nonsensical attention, he never got his just rewards and Rossi who has not won anything since 2008 gets all the attention and accolades. Stoner is a legend that has truly NOT SHOWN US IS BEST TALENT!!!

Long live Stoner’s talents showmanship and exquisite riding!!! You will be greatly missed in motogp Mr Stoner!!!
