There are plenty of riders struggling with the bike, how could us validate Desmosedici as the most successful 800cc bike?
Of course you can
not put a barcode in place of the sponsor's logo without the sponsor's full approval and collaboration. So the barcode is a sponsor's device to circumvent tobacco publicity restrictions, definitely
not a part of the Ferrari logo. The idea was then applied at Ducati as well--same sponsor, same colors, same thing. Ducati definitely like to be seen as the Ferrari on two wheels, but thats the end of it. Remember one fact--Fiat, the
owners of Ferrari, sponsor Yamaha... So we know where their money is, and money is not an opinion.
Regarding Ducati being the most successful 800cc bike, that's very simple: it is the bike that won most GP's in the 800cc era. It is as easy and undisputable as saying that Casey Stoner is the most successful rider of the 800cc era... We know the numbers, and numbers are not an opinion.
