Donny GP Race Talk *SPOILER*

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Franco Fangio @ Jun 24 2007, 05:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Yeah, and take away the bikes Rossi had when he won the title and he wouldnt have been champ as well. It's obviously about the right combi, this year the Stoner + Ducati combination is just amazing, simple as that!!

Rossi should step up his game if he wants to win the title, cause if it continues like this, Casey WILL win the title, and that would be deserved.
i agree.
we have to remember this is a team sport, bike rider, tyres ect ect., bridgestone ducati and stoner are all doing there jobs perfectly so props to them.
im sure rossi, yam and michilin will step up there game ,just hope they dont leave it to late

Totally, i feel like the rider is ultimately responsible for the result, but it is a team sport and there is no denying that. I think Rossi/Yam/Michelin will step up the game soon, plus Pressure is on for Rossi big time and he can thrive on that (like Mugello) so i am very excited to see what he comes up with at Assen and Sachsenring, which should favour him and his kit.

Hoping the same..
They NEED to win the next GP. They can't afford another Casey win. As said before, the season is still long, but if they don't start winning soon, they won't win the title, cause we can count on Casey winning more races this season. I really think the next two races will be crucial.

Stoner was just brilliant!!! Pretty bad start, but then suddenly swoooosh like a rocket. I wish it was Collin, but that kid was just perfect!

Poor Nicky
<

Stoner was AWSOME!!!
<
<
<
...and taught Mr Rossi and the whole field a lesson on how to Win..Win..Win and WIN Some MORE!!!...and that is "In any climatic conditions in motoGP" be it dry, wet, slippery etc etc...may be motoGP should have a GP in Sweden in the snow & ice with spiky tires?....but then again Stoner will win that too...lol
<

Great Job Casey!!!

FFS... To ALL of Val’s Fans
<
...We don’t want to read any MORE Excuses...the Michelins this, the Yammy this and that or whatever...just give credit where it’s due and just admit that the great VR’s days are OVER!!!

They are not over, there is just less of them than there used to be.

While I'm saddened by Nicky's accident, his speed throughout the weekend has given me a new optimism. I can't wait for the next GP!

Great job by Casey. Rain is supposed to be the great equalizer, right?
<

I was surprised by Colin's performance. I expected him to fall back like he did in France. Great job Tornado!

Congrats to stoner! He looks like Rossi did in 2005! Just killing the competition and a confidence that's out of this world...
And Edwards, wow! Good for him..
Rossi..well...lets just put this one behind us and try to get that 'dubbaya' next time..
<

There are more races but Casey is on another planet right now. Will be really tough for Vale..

LOL this is awsome last year we had all the hayden fans this year its all the stoners. Ill give the Rossi fans credit at least they are consistant
<
Also people like CSCVAW need to pull their heads out of their ..... even if stoner wins this year do you really think he will win 5 world titles and break countless records I highly doubt it.. the kid never won 250 etc.. The other manufactuers will catch up if not this year then next year I would be more worried about Pedrosa over the years then stoner. But it does look like he will be king this year.

Great job by the podium boys, Rossi needs to have a serious think about his performance, Great first half by Westy, and more solid points provided for Kawasaki from both himself and DePuniet.

Disapointments, Melandri, Carpirossi, Elias and NH who I thought was very unlucky.

dont you find it ironic, that your cheerleading post is post #46

Only got ot watch the race this morning on eurosport, it was a pretty amazing race. I think some of you guys are understating how well Stoner rode. Where was he after turn one on the first lap? 12th or maybe even lower than that. For the guy to make such a ....-up of the start, to then just obliterate everybody else to take win 5 out of 8 is historic stuff. Only Rossi does stuff like that. Only Doohan and Rainey and King Kenny did stuff like that. And still there seems to be a lot of yeah, whatever, like it's only the bike

krazy91 ...hehehe
<
...pull my head out of my arse???...you don’t have to be insulting...the same statements were made about Michael Doohan!!! As far as the past with Casey well I don’t think he had the team or equipment like the top teams did to be able to achieve world championships in the 125/250 classes.

Only time will tell how Casey will go in the future, judging by his performance in 2007 things could only go better for him, he’s mature, cool under pressure and a terrific rider under any conditions. And the way he has handled the Rossi, Pedrosa factor are just perfect.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Teomolca @ Jun 25 2007, 01:08 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Well he could fall of his bed while doing A-style and break his leg....

how did this go unnoticed?

Great race... knew it had to be won by an australian

disspointing for haydos, he deserved better than that after his efforts this weekend

have to say i expected to see more from melandri, pedrosa and rossi.

Not seen the race yet, so cant really comment.

What can we say about Stoner, every so often someone raises the bar, and he's the man just now.

to be honest pete, this wet race at donny proved it to me.
fort his way up from 9th place i think to win. damn he's good this year.

Yeah that's right, he's good in the dry the wet and the bloody impossible no-one can say now that it is just the bike, or just luck, he's bloody good and that's all there is to it.

Well done that man, it's great to see, I am actually upset for Rossi in that he wasn't able to fight it out, that was a bit dissapointing but hey ho, I'm sure he will be back fighting. Roll on a wet Assen, not long either. Hopefully it will be another great race, there hasn't been a bad one yet so all good just hope Stoner doesn't run away with the title hopes that's the only thing worrying me, that it's a one horse race. And Honda, get your arse into gear.
