Rossi has now 98 victories in total.

Could he have planned to celebrate his 100 victory in all classes at Mugello?

What better way to have his 100 victory if not at Mugello.

In my opinion next race in France he will be more then motivated to win in order to have a shot at Mugello. He surely has that in mind.

Can you imagine if he will do it at Mugello, what a celebration will we have.

If he wins in France, I'd say I expect him to also win in Mugello. But we have to see the next race first.

It will be very nice, of cource he loves to win the next race 2 like he did it last year, but it's

never any gurranty that he can win it again.

I,m just happy that he started his winning in 2009 championship, so he still has 8 races to win,

and last year when he took his first win then he won the 2nd and 3th back to back.

So let's hope so for him.

I haven't had a chance to read the script yet, but that would make 1 hell of a story.

You have to think that is going through his mind right now. He ususally does win at Mugello so it is going to be very intresting to see what happens.

Even rossi fans should probably be hoping mugello is not his 100th win because if it is the season is basically over.

Anyway you slice the points, even though stoner is ahead of where he was last year rossi has done better still. By my calculation rossi has 65 points as against 47 from the first 3 races and 56 from the races at these three tracks in 2008, whilst stoner has 54 vs 40 and 50. Rossi is also better against lorenzo and pedrosa than in the first 3 races last year.

As far as stoner goes, he may have more assistance with dani and jorge taking points from valentino, but they are also more likely to take points from him. I think jorge is one more dnf away from yamaha legitimately being able to say he is not a viable contender and they have to concentrate on rossi. The problem for stoner is that the ducati 's set-up seems to always be on a knife's edge, and to be dependent on tyres in particular. If the hard tyre which seems to be absolutely necessary for him in particular continues not to be among the limited tyre choices available for each race, he may not be able to challenge rossi even apart from the quality of valentino's riding and bike.

If Rossi wins 100th at Mugello, I really do think Italy would sink in the Mediterranean.

That sure would be cool, but either way I am going to go to Mugello!

Anybody on here planning on going?

I got a nice ride from Bologna to Mugello for all 3 days...

Stoked!
