Doesn't count. As unpredictable and potentially dangerous Fabrizio can be to anyone, including Haga, I'm quite certain he'd give Haga a bit more room than the others. Rea has proven to be just as ambitious as Fab, except that he's not going to give an inch to anyone.

Rea does come off as someone who think's he's the next 'sliced bread'. Talks pretty big, but has yet to prove himself. It is nice to see another guy capable of mixing it up with the top 3 occasionally, especially on another machine. Next year Honda will able to run upfront consistently, they've seem to be making steady progress in the right direction. Kiyonari will lead Honda to a championship next year !!!

you can be pretty funny at times!

Has Honda's resurgence gone hand and hand to when they switched from Showa to Ohlins during the season.

I thought Dovi was the only one with the Ohlins... hmmmm, and he still can't keep up with Satellite Colie...

Correction, they switched from WM Suspension to Ohlins in WSBK and WSS. Dovi switched from Showa to Ohlins in GP. Rea won his first race on Ohlins and has run near the front since the change. Super Glue in WSS was nowhere and all of a sudden he is near the front and leading races since the switch.I guess i have answered my own question with a little research.Obviously the Ohlins parts have made a HUGE difference

+1

I'm nearly equally happy to see either one win it: I'm always leaning towards . . .
the underdog, which in a sense they both are. It's always sad to see the
best Japanese riders - always the bridesmaid, so...

And on the other hand I feel like it would be witnessing a prime bit of
racing history for Spies to take it in his rookie year. Especially given all
the pre-season's negative speculation about Spies being afraid to fly,
and his mother being a kind of ogre/albatross and how difficult it was
going to be for him to adapt to the international lifestyle. Who to root for?
A tough choice.

I pretty much feel the same as you Keshav. It's going to be hard who to root for, either way I'm going to be happy for the winner and a little sad for the runner up. Hopefully it comes down to the last race, where only the winner of the race will take the championship. May the best man win, without the aid of mechanical factors and scud missiles.

Very possible, but the powers that be at Team Yamaha were obviously not impressed. Will they have the Steinbrenner syndrome for the next couple of years where they hire and fire on a whim trying to recapture the magic of 2009.Time will tell. As far as the next race and the championship

Just finished watching race one and about to watch race two. Not impressed? How so? How did
they indicate this? Not calling you out ... just wondering what I missed.

BTW - anybody learn what happened to Rea's bike in race #1? He was smokin'.
