My mind has been numbed. My mental acuity has been diminished. This kind of masochism isn't healthy. I must find a new hobby.
Hayden had better overall single lap pace than Rossi during the race. Hayden cannot get along with the fuel computer. Perhaps WSBK is the place for him, but it has nothing to do with his ability to ride a motorcycle. Hayden doesn't know how to hypermile.

Honda have improved by 3 seconds from last year..in worse (spitting rain)conditions.
Yamaha lost .7 of a second from last year.
Ducati have improved by .7 over the winners time from last year..Pedrosa...Stoner was further behind.
Obviously the Honda is the bike to beat and with Rossi already beating Casey's times from last year in the last 2 races its plain to see that if Rossi was on a Honda he would be winning...but of course its only a matter of time and I predict he will win within the next 3 rounds.

The next Honda after Stoner finished out of the podium and just 2secs ahead of Rossi. Simoncelli on a Honda finished in 6th. I don't know if Rossi would be winning on a Honda but what I do know is that Stoner on a Ducati would still be winning or at battling for wins and podiums.
I think Alex Hoffmann was right, Rossi won't win this year in proper (dry) race conditions. It is difficult if Stoner, Lovenzo and Sic are in good form. Up until now, he battled with his biggest fan, Dovi. The new high inertia crankshaft didn't do wonders, but at least it feels good.
simo was slower on the race than on the fp .. he should easily be in front of everyone except stoner or lorenzo maybe

Sic's start was very strange....and also his laptimes.....I hoped he would be on the podium even after the bad start. Very happy about Spies. I really thought Dovi and Rossi will catch him, but fortunately that did not happen.
Too many electronics? Well turn them down. They all complain about too many electronics but they still run them. The opposite is true for Stoner. It is well documented that he runs the least electronics out of everyone and look at his results. Ducati have been spending up big on putting all the electronics back in on the Ducati because Rossi is demanding them. I don't think these guys have the skill anymore to ride with out them. Look who is winning and look at what he does with his, everyone in the paddock just about has sat down and analysed what Stoner does - Rossi, JB, Hayden, Capirossi, Pedrosa, Dovi ..... yet they are all still running with the electronics on full bore and then turn around and whinge that there are too many electronics in MotoGP.
Everyone is saying the Honda is the best bike. Well maybe because Stoner is riding it rather than the electronics.
Textbook race from Stoner again, it is starting to look a bit ominous for the championship. Lorenzo is getting the best of the Yamaha and being consistent as ever, but Casey is only 7 points behind despite Jorge taking a 25 point net gain from Jerez with no fault to Casey. Dovi is next a long and 35 points back, it looks a like a 2 horse race at the moment but i'd imagine it wont by the summer break. Good for Spies to finally perform as he should for a whole weekend, hopefully he can keep a decent run on and not have a disaster season. I wonder if/when he'll finish ahead of Jorge for the first time this year. Cal looking excellent again.

EVERYONE is riding with electronics do you realise how unsettled these bikes would be without?....
stoner was using electronics on the ducati last season, if you remember stoner was given an upgrade to the electronics, he said in a after practice interview and said could ride much faster with it so i dont know where you got ......
"ducati have been putting all the electronics back on the bike" seriously wtf?
no one really knows who is riding with or less electronics its pure speculation.
please dont turn into someone as delusional as barry.

earlier i just wasted 30mins of my life on that horse .... catching the last part of the race
and i feel bad for the daughter's who had to tell me it was on in Family waiting room TV at the Hospital
geez WHAT A zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz that was and i'm embarrassed they saw that .....they dont understand why i like bike racing after they watched that crap
i aint had time these days to catch up on bike racing story's
this is the first real chance i've had to get on here so as SIC-Boy upset any this weekend

Of course everyone is riding with electronics, I did not infer that they weren't. It is not speculation that Stoner rides with very little electronic/TC interference as it is well documented by many fellow riders and crew chiefs.
Rossi has been using the electronics/TC to try to calm down the Ducati from the state that he first rode it which was the way Stoner had it set. This is also well documented.
I can only form opinions from what those on the inside say publicly. All these things have been said by people on the inside and people who have seen the ACTUAL data. As such I do not think I am delusional at all.
What a blind biased comment.
They are now on asymmetrical tyres & the conditions are completely different to last year.
Anyone using times from last season or any past season to justify their argument is absolutely kidding themselves & mate you are absolutely kidding yourself.
Rossi finished 5th on Merit. get over it.

They don't really have a choice. Just because a less-intrusive electronics setting works for Stoner doesn't mean it's the magic bullet for everyone else. Stoner has freakish talent, but he may lack in some other areas. He does excel in his ability to ride a motorcycle with unrivaled precision in the sport. That said, I don't think anyone can ride these things at a pace similar to present without a significant amount of electronics, perhaps bar Stoner. And that'd be a big ask for Stoner.
I've read from multiple credible sources that Stoner runs comparatively very low levels of electronics. This is according to Hayden and the guys at Honda, just off the top of my head.

Yeah ....... as am I ...... don't worry even though my memory is better than an elephants, I don't really get moved by any of this stuff so no real grudge either ..... just a bit of fun.
........ it should always be good fun for you too in my book so these comments and digs are all good value. Hell it would be .... if everyone went for the same rider and nobody ever posted a negative comment. Joke or not its all fine by me, so long as you allow me a chance to jibe back
