Why not? They weren't all that memorable. About the personality - can't argue with that. But hey Lawson was never Mr. Charm either.

They can't all be Mike The Bike or Sarno Saarinen or Barry Sheene. In terms of on camera charm, these guys are/were the exception.

I think that is what a lot of folks found wearisome about Rossi, it all seems like a constructed facade, not a natural extension of who

he really is (whoever that might be).

Never heard that before. Still - I'm sure he didn't go to some secret underground lab

and undergo hypno-therapy and personality implants.
