I watched it yesterday. Watching it makes you realise how much he will be missed, how hard he worked to get there and how those that helped him quickly turned on him when he beat their real prodigies.

I don't get this bit? If you mean Puig ......... ??? the guy is pretty upfront and honest about Casey with nothing but good words.

Matter of fact, though its much denied on here, Puig has always backed Stoner, he was even one of the first guys to congratulate him in person at Qatar 07 and again at Motegi 07.

I don't get the Puig hate on here, and its really only on here one sees/hears it. I know Jumkie has it in for him due to his deluded anti Pedro obsession ...... but really, its hard to think of a better mentor than Puig has been over the years.

Ezpeleta helped get Stoner into GP's. Now he is helping get him out. Did you miss the bit when Puig talking about Stoners 2011 championship dropping suggestions that it was because Pedrosa was injured.

I find Lorenzo so boring in riding style and personality I don't think I could ever be a fan. Also I could never forget the Rossi wanna be post race celebrations that he carried on with a few years ago.

Pretty much nailed it right there. He's smart, shrewd and conservative. The tail end of this season tells the whole story. After watching his documentary "Jorge" and when he stopped doing the Rossi post race garbage (probably after Casey showing him how to win a GP with class in 2011) I stopped rooting against him. But I don't think I can ever root for him. I want to watch a rider go for it.

I don't know, what about "The Wall"?. I saw the whole roger waters extravaganza a few months ago, which wasn't quite as bad as I remembered the album as being. You are a brave man to mix painkillers with late period pink floyd.

Love "Piper at the Gates of Dawn", "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were Here " , the latter being fairly mournful also I guess though.

Hard to criticise him though, he is so tough and so bloody good.

I can't disagree with you, I just find him a bit ..... clinical? I guess there are worse traits, just as a fan he doesn't really get my heart pumping.

Michael, i have everything Pink Floyd (and Barrett et al solo) have ever done. A bit of Pro's and Con's and hitchhiking anyone?

Lorenzo is starting to bite and he has dropped a few smart arse comments of late that impress me. I agree that he is a very clinical rider but he is getting there.

As for copying Rossi, it was spanked into everyone from a young age that Rossi was the template supreme for motogp success. I think Lorenzo is coming into his own now.

Whether I really like him or not is how he reacts to having Rossi back as a team mate. Rossi left bemoaning equal treatment and calling him and thief (stealing all his development and setup) - if Lorenzo rises to this challenge I will buy one of his stupid flags. If not I will be celebrating first Ducati.

Rossi will be chasing his teammate all season. I'll be cheering for him, but I think Lorenzo has him covered and there is more humble pie in Rossi's future.

Yes, I love the syd barrett barrett pink floyd singles and have "relics" and the first syd barrett solo album. Find animals and everything after that hard to stomach though.

I am so posting on the what you listening to thread. As a guitarist I think the animals album was the greatest floyd album, and for its lyrical content as well. Simply amazing. I will post
