Racing is calculated risks and that day Loris calculated better, get over it and stop making excuses.

no need for excuses he is 100 points ahead of loris and despite loris ducati is still leading the contructors and teams tables

i for one think cappi is still a quick rider otherwise he would not have offers of three factory rides this year

kwaka, rizzla and ducati. all factory squads.

He did calculate better in Germany and fair play to him , he deserved his place on the box.

My only concern with the third bike with duc as at the mo it seems that the second machine is constantly breaking down and what would happen with a third.

the guy is not a liar and is still an out and out racer.

how can peolple say that. last year when he was 33 he was fighting for the championship and with the help of his so called team mate hitting him in spain he problably could have won the title.
Then this year when he is only 1 year older he he classed as a has been.

He is imo stil committed to winning and deserves the respect of others

we need and i want him to stay in top flight

give the guy a break

Is it so hard to believe Stoner is not God? That there are not better riders than him, but haven't had the same opportunities?

The foul nature of some of his fans is making me want to see him fail this year, although I always prefer Ducati to win, his fans stain his success with their immature views of other riders.

where were some of these supporters last season.

i used to view this forum last year but never sighned up to it and never saw so many so called supporters last year.

as much as i love ducati sometimes the remarks made about " the god kid " make me want to switch supporting the duc.

I have met him briefly and he seems quite mature for his age but he is not indestructable and the wins are down to rider and bike - not just one or the other.

Exactly, Stoner is doing a remarkable job this year, but he is not a world champion, he is not a legend and he is not a god.

BENNY haven’t you read Casey’s interview and what he had to say about that!!! And his unfortunate experience in 2006 on the infamous or infamous LCR!!!...I SAY NO MOERE!!!

IS IT???...phloem...or flam...or phlegm...or whatever...lol...How can we respect other riders when they never respected Casey...WHEN...everyone including yourself don’t respect HIM!!! ...so you have to have respect for other to be respected...that is my motto!!!... But Casey even though he’s proving everyone WONG..has shown I thought very great respect to everyone!!!

Plase Note: That I feel thast Rossi is very gracious in defeat and such a gentleman!!!...I respect Rossi immensely!!! Goodonya Val!!! UR A LEGEND!!!

What riders aren't respecting Casey? I hear most of the paddock say that Casey is the reason the ducati is winning not the other way around, and a lot of people on here are the same. Its only a minority left in doubt about how good Casey is, but at the other end of the scale there is a minority (including you) who have gotten a bit carried away.

I think the potential is there, but he just needs to be recognised as a rider taking every opportunity of the situation he has found himself in for 2007 and he is doing a freaking damn good job of it..

However, some people on here may want to keep a lid on things, three weeks is plenty of time for Rossi/Yam/Mich to get sorted and fired up, I think Rossi still has a damned good shot at the title and will go hell for leather over the last seven races... One crash for the Stoned one and the memories of 2006 may just come flooding horribly back..

We seem to agree quite often these days, i may have to re-assess my values!

Im not a completely biased one eyed fool like some others around here..

1. It's Phleg, not Benny, but I understand, being over 50 drastically you have drastically reduced brain cells compared to some of us young 'uns. BTW...if the LCR was so ...., he should have learnt to settle for points, rather than try to become a hero-a-race.

2. Well why should other riders respect Casey if he doesn't respect them? They should be allowed to follow any rider to enhance themselves, but he whines about riders 'trying to get a tow'.

He must learn to settle down.
