Hopefully someday my writing will be to the level that HRC would like me to write about riding thir GP bikes, although at that point I'll have to hope that my riding can keep up.

Telefonica might be coming back to MotoGP me thinks

I was about to write a thread of this, because the implications of Alonso´s move could affect MotoGP seriously, considering Alonso is going to VODAFONE McLaren there´s no way Telefonica is going to put a sticker on that car because they are rivals to Vodafone.

So next year Telefonica will sponsor Alonso in Renault but not in 2007, considering Alonso is the only Spaniard in F1, Telefonica may go back to MotoGP in 2007 or even earlier.

I think Pons must have had an erection when he read the news.

I'm sure he did but would they want to sponsor Honda bikes after all the problems they've had with Honda? I think they would rather join Yamaha.

I don´t think they have a problem with Honda, the fight was between Telefonica and Repsol, and there are other teams in MotoGP, for example Ducati ends their contract with Marlboro next year, having Sete on board probably will give them a head start with telefónica.

nice one teo cracked me up.

Yes might be very soon, As I see it Telefonica would not want to build up Alonso's profile at all if he is going to be a vodafone guy the following year, really puts them between a rock and hard place. Wonder if the Renault deal is signed?? or if they can get out of it????

Think they might be back in MotoGP sooner than ya think.

Hey teo keep us updated when ya get home, have a safe jornery.
