The Fortuna livery has always been a favorite of mine. The yellow and red scheme looks a lot better aboard the RC211V than it did on the M1. I'm starting to really like the yellow over the silver on the Honda. I vote for a side by side comparison 20 January 2006 to see what looks better, red and yellow or red and silver.

IMO the Fortuna livery doesnt look bad, but im not a big fan of it, i think i prefered the red and silver, i think the red and yellow makes it look like a toy.

IMO the best looking RCVs are 2005's Repsol ones.

I loved the Telefonica paint jobs....................imo this doesnt look as good.

What does fortuna do anyway? had a google but couldnt really find anything

Yep, they are a cigarette company. Quick fact: Fortuna and Gauloises are both owned by the same company Altadis that up until now have sponsored Rossi with Yamaha for a few years now.

I liked the Red and Silver paint jobs more than the Red and Yellow.

The silver and red goes back to the days of Kato which is nice but the yellow is growing on me, especially on the Honda.

I think both paint jobs are OK, but I liked more the Fortuna on the Yamaha, I guess it' because I dislike the RCV.

What's so wrong with the RC211V Teo? It has the greatest looking exhaust in all of racing and is the best GP machine on the grid. Not quite as sexy as the M1 but a better all around machine.

Stop right there people Rossi might rule the track, but this bike's all round ability and looks deffo rules the paddock,Honda just need a rider to tame it !

Wrong exhaust there Doc, it needs the unsilenced pipes. My personal favorite was the molded double under seat exhaust used at Sachsenring 2004. But the Repsol bikes are definately sexy, I think it's the orange wheels.

The RCV is a superb bike in terms of performance, but when it first was introduced in 2002 it looked to me like a meatball. Compared with the imponent NSR the RCV was so little, so fat, so short, the fairing was so non-existing that it didn´t look like a GP bike at all, I really disliked it.

Now it´s not that bad, the fairing has grown and makes it look more stylish, but in my opinion it´s still the ugliest bike on the grid (along with the suzuki)

The paint jobs are pretty good, the white and black WEST that Pons team had in 2002 were pretty nice (though it looked so much better on the NSR)

Yeah, I hate to say It but the honda is the best bike on the grid, overall.
But it's not without its faults. Apparently it requires a very "Point and shoot" riding style.

I think the Telefonica paint job looked better too. It'll take some getting used to seeing Fortuna bikes at the front of the pack and not the back

And the Duke is the sexiest of them. And the coolest

Honda had a rider that could tame it Doc, he just ditched them for somthing that WASNT a Honda

Yeah I'm sick of Rossimania. Don't get me wrong I like the guy, He's unbeatable and hillarious but this whole attitude of "Rossi's the best, fk the rest" is getting annoying.
Sete's got this gut wrenching determination (Suits a gut wrechingly powerful duke)
No matter how many times he breaks down, crashes, runs outta fuel or whatever, he always comes back strong (Often taking pole in qualifying)
He's nothing short of inspirational
And his english is so much better than the doc's

I can't even imagine getting an opportunity like that. Hopefully someday my writing will be to the level that HRC would like me to write about riding thir GP bikes, although at that point I'll have to hope that my riding can keep up.
