I should have been clearer. His talk won't sell Rossi T-shirts.
Nobody will notice, the sky goes yellow at the tracks.

I guess its his way of saying " I will be beating rossi early on .... so I expect them to change the tyres to make rossi more competitive".
That's exactly Ducati's plan. From what Ciabatti has been saying I think they are just looking for a comfortable B-plan for 2019 in case Lorenzo doesn't deliver what they expect. Rumor has it Miller will have a great treatment in terms of bike parts in order to be in the position to show his real potential on the bike.
The real question mark is Zarco. If he performs well I seriously doubt he'll be in Tech3 next year. I really wouldn't mind seeing him in HRC

Back when Stoner won their first WC, and Baylis's WSBK efforts, one of the head honchos at Ducati jokingly said that it seems what Ducati needs is an Australian rider on an Italian bike. Maybe its not seen as a joke these days, so maybe the Miller thing does have soething behind it ?.
That won't happen while MM stays there. TBO I hope I never see Zarco on a Honda, I hope he goes to KTM.
No but the chance of rain is astronomically higher in October...
ahahaha that's also a very common joke among Italian Ducati fans.
"We need an Australian" :furious:
Wether his nationality is a coincidence or not, I think Miller is a very talented rider and he might be what Ducati needs. Very young, certainly fast, enough of a character to have appeal on the media and last but not least way cheaper than Lorenzo.
OT: wasn't Jack born in NZ now that I think?
Yes, I knew little of Nakagami, but his times at the test were impressive.I don't think that ....... will be moving again to Honda. If he has a good year at the Duc I think they would transfer him to the factory team, if Garcia isn't available and Lorenzo don't perform like he is paid. But definitely this season and eye on ......., Zarco and Nakagami too, pretty well for a rookie on the ...... Satellite Honda.

?
What could possibly go wrong?
So he will get a GP18?. Petrucci seems to have had all the priority so far, not unreasonably, or are Ducati already impressed with Jack’s times in testing?.

He won't get a GP18 but let me put it this way: his bike will be closer to petrucci's than redding's was last year. Ducati wants to understand his real potential.
At least, this is what I've heard.
