Again,the question will be,are they legal.The rules clearly state that the bike must be a production unit for sale to the public to be homologated

American Superbike motorcycles must be street certified in the
US and available through US retail dealers.

Daytona SportBike competition is restricted to motorcycles
(engines and frames) produced for US street use and available in
the US through retail dealers.

I suspect their inventories will be big enough to allow them to maintain production bike status, even if they've shut Buell down.

You've got to figure DMG are going to give them the nod regardless of the technicalities.

I think maybe they do in SB. I cant imagine DMG further alienating the fan base for a company that has nothing left to give them, by allowing the bigblock to run DSB. But,then again,we are talking about DMG.

I hope you're right. I never had a problem with the Buell in DSB, but it is causing more trouble than it's worth.

As most know, i had a HUUUUGE problem with it. It reeked best of favoritism, and at worse of fixed racing ,rules be damned.
