There was some talk of John Mcguinness retiring, hopefully that was just rumour and it's nothing along those lines.

The TT wouldnt be the same without him.

If the new Kawasaki is all its cracked up to be then this could be a wise move.



As for Mcguinness, i can't see what it would be besides retirement. But with the TT being as dangerous as it is, it'd be nice to see him call it a day on his own terms after such a successful career. This years TT was his first in 10 years without a single podium. He's always as quick as anyone out there but the results aren't coming, maybe he's started to wonder what he's risking it all for.

Fifteen-time TT winner John McGuinness has signed for the official Honda team for TT 2011.​

He put pen to paper with Honda Racing boss Neil Tuxworth yesterday (Thursday), in a deal which also includes the North West 200.​

The second most successful TT rider in history says he's looking forward to working with familiar people in racing at a meeting which will celebrate the centenary of the mountain course.​

Does that mean Honda are back in an official capacity?
 
Its something they do pretty regularly Tom,TT wild card kinda thing+Irish race or two.



Well they stopped their 'official' participation after 07, so i guess they are coming back
