I know this is the second time I brought this up but I'm so ready to see some more power and have my favorite rider (Nicky) on a better bike. Ducati was out testing with Nicky and Rossi again and the GP12 is getting better, they have improved lap times and it seems the 1000's are going to be much faster. Both riders said the bike improved so here's to hoping they get it right and we get better racing. Now to see if we can get some actual lap times when Yam bring their bike out to Mugello on July 7 and if anyone can find a lap time for the Duc during these tests please post it up.

From GPone http://www.gpone.com/index.php/en/201106154015/Claiming-Rules-Team=bad-idea.html

"And it was Hoffman who, one hour ago, sent the most interesting tweet of the day (and maybe the year): "Claing Rules team= bad idea. My RSV 4 felt fast till I met the GP12 on the straight! It's faaaaaaast!"

Let's not forget he was sitting on a bike that went over 330 km/h at Monza"

Hahahah SBK needs to be put back in it's place!!!!

For anyone else who is excited for the 1000's, GPone has more info out and some technical specs on the GP12 to include the main benefit of an inverted swingarm. I always thought it was just the lowered CG but I was wrong, very interesting stuff.

Very interesting, as Max's aprilia apparently had no problem staying with the GP11 on the straight at mugello.......hopefully they are monsters which can't be properly tamed by the electronics in pursuit of ultimate power and speed-like they use to be......optimism, its a wonderful thing.
