It's also the only person that sounds like a sain man, all the other ........ "I know everything, you don't" posts are just pathetic. Who the .... gives a .... about what you ....... know, what bike you driver or any other ........, cause I seriously don't. If I believe this forum I am talking all the motoGP drivers at the moment. While instead I am probably talking to 80% ....... that didn't even finish a descent education. Considering that, I am not suprised anymore that so much ........ can come out in 1 post. Every ...... triest to be funnier than the other.... is this really the way you spend your time?? Get the .... of here, please. Bunch of posers now all go think very hard about what your next ........ comment is - maybe you might be funnier than the previous .......

I can do this every day, ........ (excluding the few normal people that can talk like a normal human being)

Now go think hard about you next commen!!.....

This forum is peopled by numerous members who have been riding motorcycles for decades, a few who are ex-racers, and

a number of whom have been following MotoGp since the late '70s. And yet in your fantastic hubris-ridden mind

we're all posers whose opinions (when they are opposite of yours) are not worth considering.... and you call us

all posers? http://www.powerslide.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/.....gif What does that make you Mr. First-Bike-Ever?

Emergency rooms and Intensive care units are filled up with brainless ..... who think that the traditional

logic of learning to walk before running doesn't apply to them.

I go with my buddies all the time to salvage joints and there's always a big selection of R1s, GSXR1000s, and

other liter bikes with less than 300 miles on any of them. All ridden by dopes who thought buying a liter bike

as a first ride was a smart idea.

It took you about an hour to conclude that you were talking like ......? And than you instantly changed into a moral person giving advice? Get the .... out of here you piece of ..... You should have done that from the beginning not after someone else talked some sense into you... Now you can go back to your dumb ignorant humor or indeed hoping someone to kill himself like you're constant referring to, it says enough about your way of thinking...

Most of us are racing fans. We rarely discuss retail bikes on this forum. That's not what this place is about. If you want to discuss racing and pedigree, Ducati is virtually beyond reproach in SBK. Yah know, the "Ducati Cup." BMW is a "new" neophyte if you will in SBK. They've been making quality bikes for years but in recent history, they don't rate, AT ALL. They have no record, no Championships and nothing to show for their efforts so far. I'm certain that'll change but at the moment, Ducati is racing legend in SBK in BMW is in the wilderness. They're nowhere.

not entirely true. i can see jaouad point of view. (hey jaouad, i strongly advise you to take time and read this forum, old posts too, as long as you can. i guarantee you will LYFAO many times). regarding the beemer, levi you see, we also have the stock 1000 competition, stock meaning what you purchase in the store. and in that competitions, well, bmw kick .... 2010 world superstock 1000 championship, british superbikes stock 1000 back to back championships, spanish superstock 1000 championship. i personaly own a suzuki sv650, and i won`t change it for anything in the world.

You can throw all the insults you want - means nothing to me. I've been riding since 1979 and schmucks like you come and go. The supply of ignorant twats is endless. If you're still around on this site in 2 years send us a photo of you and your Beemer - if it isn't at the bottom of some gulley with your spine wrapped around it. Is it a date Jack-Wad?

Ok, fair enough. I should rephrase my assertion to concern only the premier series, SBK and GP. I assume that BMW will eventually find good footing in racing should they elect to truly make the effort and spend the cash. At this point however, they have much to do before they'll threaten the legacies of Honda, Yamaha and Ducati. I leave out Suzuki simply because they've elected to pass on racing, not because they are without accomplishments...

i hope it still does

very nice bike man, hope you still got it and exhibit the awesomeness of vtwin 2 strokes!

I bought it new in (about) 1990, but sadly long gone.

Had it for about 2 years, and put some go fast bits on it (because they were really needed !!!), but quickly realised I couldn't pick up girls with it, so sold it for a car. Got t' admit, the photo I posted is not my old bike, I just poached it off the net because I don't have any good photos of the RGV, but it's the same model as mine and looked exactly the same.

Seriously very special bike though. Something special about a v twin 2 stroke at full noise.

Love strokers! My stable has included an off it's guts mc21 nsr250, aprilia rs125, also off it's guts, and in the middle of a vj21/22 hybrid Rgv 250. I still rate the rs125 more fun than any of my big bikes.

Well said, thank you I appreciate the advice.

No matter what bike you ride, the most important thing (IMO!) is to be able to steer, brake, and navigate properly in a crisis.

Unless you consciously practice and fully understand countersteering, threshold braking, and have trained yourself to avoid target fixation, it is only a matter of time 'till you overcook a corner by 10 MPH and plow into something hard. In an of itself, a fast, sporty bike won't kill you, but it will much more readily create those unexpected situations that rapidly snowball and turn you into a wheelchair jockey or worse. There is nothing particularly intuitive about riding a bike, it takes mental effort and continual awareness and practice to become proficient, and then maintain those skills. If you can afford the beemer, you can afford track time and proper training. In the meantime, while waiting for the next track day, find and read/watch the 'Twist of the Wrist' series, either book or video.

While I'm dispensing advice (wanted or not!

)

Being young and dumb is not a crime - we've all been there. Nor do most people hold it against you. What does tend to rankle old farts like me (and presumably Kesh) is the deadly combination of young, dumb, and arrogant. In all honesty, that's how you come across. If you find you're getting dragged into a slagfest with half the people on the forum, you might want to modify your approach. if you quit _telling_ everyone how awesome you, your bike, and your opinions are, you might soon be surprised at how much more smoothly you get on with most of the dorks on this forum. (There are still a number of peckerheads to watch out for, but - believe it or not! - Kesh is not one of them.)

Net value, two cents. Take it or leave it.

You .... up the first half of your post you ....... You start by giving some "useful advice" now you have seen that there are still people that have some rationality and you end up ....... it up and than you call me dumb and arrogant? This is by far the saddest forum on the internet with the highest percentage of people think they know everything. Read back you ...., I am the only person in this whole thing that recognizes I don't know everything. Try finding someone else saying that, and I am the one who's arrogant? Your kind of people is the worst: people pretending they are helpful... Get the .... out of here you little piece of .....
