I on the other hand see bikes as women. Fun.... for a while.
<

you misogynistic .......!

nah joking

i still love my first bike and i always will!

don't you ever compare those two again!

Jihad

You suck, your post, sucks and your a beligerent douschebag.

You sound like a 5 year old that just got a new toy and cant fathom that anything else is as good or better.

Every post you have made in regards to helmets and bikes has been you trying to force everyone to agree with your opinion.

Nobody give a .... how much better your bike is then everyone elses.

We all ride what we ride because it suits our fancy, not because some journo told us it was the best thing on the road.

Can you imagine Rossi kicking Lorenzo's ... on a Beemer?
<

No, I can't. Because it's completely implausible. BMW has struggled mightily in SBK until recently. By the time they have a reasonable GP machine, Rossi will be long gone.

That's arguable.

Results cal:

2010 - 5th

Results haslam:

2009 - 6th

2010 - 2nd

2011 - 5th

Haslam probably rides on the best bike in the Wsbk. Cal is improving so quickly, as you said if not riding on a Jap factory bike you're toast. Wonder if Haslam would have got the same results as Cal did so far?

Everything on this forum is arguable. You'll see.

Same here. Doctors and lawyers and corporate accountants, and midgets with low self-esteem.

Ducatis - not much better. I see them parked all over the city and when you walk over to someone

pulling up or away from the curb - they never have more than a few miles on the odometer.

Pretty much always, the owners are young trustafarians crusing from one faux Euro bar to the next.

I've got over 20K on mine!

I admit I am fairly new to motorcycling, but luckily there´s Internet and a lot of experts out there that may know even more than you about the latests suprspor bikes. Truly in all (self respecting) motorcycly authorities where the panigale is compared to the S1000RR, the verdiect is all the same: S1000RR kicks Ducati's ....

I may be influenced by the affect I own a S1000RR, but check out all the serious motorcycle authorities. You can argue with me, sure you have more experience than me, but the fact remains that all experts say the same. Panigale is a superb bike but S1000RR is better! on the road, on the track, it's handling. only thing they might like more are the electronics, ok maybe that, but taht's the only thing. S1000RR kicks Ducati's ... dude, got to admit it.

Crash.net! You heard of it? You might like it there.

I never ...... Adele, nor did I .... Angelina Jolie, but I am a 100% sure I prefer Angelina Jolie. The same goes for the Ducati and the Beemer, of course I am black and white, I am talking about what I like what is best for me! ... and the S1000 is!

I don't need to - I owned one - why would I read some blokes write-up in a mag for something I had in the garage? To validate my judgement?

Now you understand me, the same goes for me, that is exactly the case for me. My judgement is I prefer the S1000 no matter what you guys think about the bike... And if all the other motor fans (besides you) say it rides / handles better, it is faster and drives better on the road than the Panegale, - than for me that is a conformation not the reason that I bought it. Sure you had all bikes, but the supersport bike that I drove, this one rides best.

Guess most of you guys are Ducati fans or just trying to be a pain the ...... but than we have to agree to disagree on this.

peace

Most of us are racing fans. We rarely discuss retail bikes on this forum. That's not what this place is about. If you want to discuss racing and pedigree, Ducati is virtually beyond reproach in SBK. Yah know, the "Ducati Cup." BMW is a "new" neophyte if you will in SBK. They've been making quality bikes for years but in recent history, they don't rate, AT ALL. They have no record, no Championships and nothing to show for their efforts so far. I'm certain that'll change but at the moment, Ducati is racing legend in SBK in BMW is in the wilderness. They're nowhere.

My first bike was RGV 250 (Pepsi special) and that thing scared the .... outta me.

Jaouad, you could take the top 5 sport bikes in the world, and in the hands of pro riders, they are probably less than a second apart on track (personally, I think the Aprillia is probably still fastest, but the Beemer would be up there).

Bottom line is that any of these sport bikes have capability WAY beyond your ability, or my ability, or probably everyone else on here's ability. The difference in what you can do on one bike to another will come down to how big your balls are, or how stupid you are.

If you like the Beemer, thats what matters. That its the fastest bike in the world (or not) means .... all, if you can't ride it to the limit, or if another bike is easier to ride.

Friend of mine has a Desmo, and an F4. The Desmo is a weapon, but he prefers riding the F4.

For me, I love the 1198 & Panagale. Sure testers have raved about the S1000, but for me, I prefer the 1198 or the Panagale. Thats my choice, and I don't give a toss if another bike is .02sec faster to warp speed.

If you love the S1000 that should be all that matters, you don't need to justify your choice, but don't .... on someone else that has a different opinion to something that is subjective.

And PS.... listen to the advice you have been given above, from older wiser men, who have been down the same track as you. That S1000 has the ability to kill you faster than you even realise. Treat it with respect dude. If you want to rip it, go do it at a track day, and learn to ride the thing properly, where you can give yourself a fright without life changing consequences.

Can't wait to see my Brand kick some motoGP ...!!

YOUR brand?

"Holly crap, guys! The CEO and majority stockholder of BMW is here with us now!"

Sorry, but if there's one behavior I can't freaking stand, it's tribal joiners.

These are the idiots who run into work on a Monday morning babbling all about how "We won!" the big game.

I always reply, "Who the .... is 'we?' I didn't see you suited up, or are you on the coaching staff?" That usually shuts them up for a few seconds - long enough for me to finish pouring the coffee and make my escape....

CLASSIC post-purchase rationalization.

"Post-purchase rationalization is a cognitive bias whereby someone who purchases an expensive product or service overlooks any faults or defects in order to justify their purchase. It is a special case of choice-supportive bias."

I see this all the time with Leica snobs, Swarovski encrusted Scottsdale ....... (including an ex G.F., sad to say), and .... Beemer drivers.

Seriously, dude. Making blind fanboi posts like that is just asking for it.

You may as well wait for a severe thunderstorm, hike to the top of the tallest local mountain, stick a lightning rod up your butt, and bend over.

While instead I am probably talking to 80% ....... that didn't even finish a descent education. Considering that, I am not suprised anymore that so much ........ can come out in 1 post. Every ...... triest to be funnier than the other.... is this really the way you spend your time?? Get the .... of here, please. Bunch of posers now all go think very hard about what your next ........ comment is - maybe you might be funnier than the previous .......

I can do this every day, ........ (excluding the few normal people that can talk like a normal human being)

Now go think hard about you next commen!!.....

Well said, thank you I appreciate the advice.
