Whats the best sounding bike in MotoGP?

I went to Donnington last year to see the four strokes for the first time.

The RCV sounds just like it does on TV, very growly, almost electric.

The Desmocedici sounded awesome! one of the loudest.

The 'original firing' ZX-RR just screamed and howled.

The best was the M1 tho, from a distance it sounds surprisingly like a normal 4cylinder but on TV with the on-board shots its amazing- it booms like a Vtwin and i reckon sounds the best on overun.

Anyone been up close to the bikes when their running?

Well, you have my choice up the..........the Kwak, that is one load son-of-a-..............and the dukes.

Think I like the "raspin" sound of the kwak the best overall..........even the WSB one sounds the same!

Good choice Ben!

Ive got a recording on my phone of all the bikes speeding past craner curves on the first lap and the one you can really notice is the Kwak!

Ps. How is dazza a staff member now? do you pay him or is it voluntary?

hondas sound like a bike with the complete set up and ready for action, but dor the DUKE WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW THATS LOAD

I know what you mean about the Honda- its almost as if you can hear the linear torque curve is'nt it? Beast.

I am jealous of all of you for hearing them all and having a vast knowledge of MotoGP 4 stroke noise. Once I head out to California I will be able to comment on this but until then I will quietly sit in the corner and feel excluded.

Last year at Donni i was at Mclean's, and also got the M1 during practice on my phone it had dull hollow engine note but not bad,but the RCV is the man, sliding that 260bhp beast around the corner, got a wave too[during practice that is]on his out lap think he noticed us Honda head's leaping all over the place, nice dude.

The Kwackers Just scream down the straights, the Dukes sound very beefy,

At Donny last year I was at the bottom of Craner curves and when the WCM came past you could hear it popping and backfiring

Thought I would help Ben out Ron as its a role I have been doing for a couple of years at other sites.

I do not feel any higher or special we are all here for the same thing, its a thankless Job Moderating but someone has to do it.

BTW congrats on reaching the Century!!

My camera is of pretty low grade but I will do what I can. I can promise you pictures, I can't however promise they will be any good.
