Barry Machine in doubt for the next three races

This is insane.......

After compaining that Aussie track days were too soft, Berrybullshit has been offered a FREE trip to the UK, to go to Haslam's race school (serious track day), and race 22 in a Supercart (chance of a lifetime), and he won't front up.

Baz, I think this is a fair indication that after telling everyone about your masterful abilities, and no sight of you for 4 - 5 days, you are now hiding !!

Shame on you ............ !!

Arrab, I've never been on a bike on a race track, and can't ride for ...., but if Berry doesn't front up, I'll gladly take his spot in the race school, will race 22 to within an inch of his life, supply as much booze as you can drink, and tuck enough 50 quid notes into strippers g-strings to keep everyone happy while I'm there.

Fuckit, I'll even pay for my own airfare from Australia.

I go away for a few days and you have all forgotten about rossi and its all "barry barry barry!!"



Justifiably so of course, I am now on a bigger race by race salary than ole 46!!



It took me ages going back to see what all the fuss is about ......

but there it is ....... Arab? is offering to pay my fare and will supply a bike to have a ride!!!



No worries ........ forget the school you wally's !!! I'm way past that and Haslam has nothing to teach me.



But I will run a day or two at Donnington no worries.



It will need to be in our Xmas break cos thats my next supposed free time.



Airstrip near Donington ....... no London traffic or suburban transfers ....... Donnington local private accommodation,

Two days only. Fly in morning then fly home the next evening.



No firm date until December 20 2012.

December is obviously out of season for track days being the middle of our winter. You wouldn't be able to fly into East Midlands Airport, (next to Donington), but Birmingham is also very near.



Just to clarify, if you enrolled for a days instruction Ron and Leon Haslam would have nothing to teach you? Right - no surprise there



Actually the Ron Haslam Raceschool has switched venues to Silverstone from Doni. Nonetheless the offer is there - I will arrange a trackday at Donington and provide a bike and I will finance your air fare. 22 will take care of his side.



You'd have to come in the U.K. spring then - which is fine because the new trackday season will have started by then. I'd be pleased to be your host.

He never mentioned Superkarts in his post so I assume he's chickening out



December is off for the superkarts as that's off-season here. Though if we are paying for your flights Berry and can command $1m an event for riding then I don't think hiring a track or begging Silverstone to have a session within the bike trackday for the great Berry to show us his skills could be discounted. If I don't still have my kart by then Viper Racing or Barker Racing can hire us ones. Do you want 250 National or Division 1?
 
P.S. Where were you Barry? Trying to think up a witty retort or were you secretly testing Stoners RC213V using Jonny Rea's skid lid?
 
How convenient. Surely you can take a week off from raping animals before December?



And and as for the "Flying in Monday, Leave Tuesday night" statement....clearly you've never flown any great distance...you'd be totally ...... up with Jetlag in that timeframe my man.
 
Well, maybe PowerSlide should come to you, or at least Arrabi...you pick the track day, your own bike, and let Arabbi know the date, he can show up with camera in hand and document for the PowerSlide community....sorry your left out 22, but surely we can work something out that gives us all documented proof?

Great. There's a Phillip Island rideday the week before motogp for anyone thats interested. Slot still available, which is surprising since I figured it would be booked out. Now Arab only has to con Barry into a flight to Melbourne.

Not just banter Birdman - I am completely serious.



I was last in Australia in 2008 (I have friends in Brisbane and also the company I work for is based there). One of the circuits I would love to visit is PI and Melbourne is generally regarded as one of the most desirable cities to live in the world so I'd love to go there too. I assume that a trackdays in Victoria aren't subject to the same draconian measures and restrictions as in NSW?



I also know people in Sydney. When I was a kid I lived in New Zealand and my Dad worked in the city for periods of time. We were on the cusp of moving there in fact. I think - and I say this very tentatively - that I know the area where Barry lives - or that many of his posts have alluded to.





I would be over like a shot if someone covers my accomodation feeds me and arranges a bike and track day as I am pledging to do with Barry. It is cheaper to bring Barry here because I live very close to Donington while I work ten miles away from Silverstone and the distances are far less. If you can get me up to Sydney from PI so that I can meet Barry - I'm straight there.



Regarding paying for him to fly here I am 100% serious - we'll sort the rest.
