When they do these, they always show the power and speed comparisons and neglect to mention the car has 4 fat grippy tyres, downforce and a brake in each wheel. The car will kill the bike.
On a side note how much different are Indy Cars now from when I used to watch it back in the 90's? When did they make the back wheels pretty much enclosed? I take it that's to prevent the cars being flung through the air when they touch?

Like myself Ant, you probably watched CART and this new series (basically formed off the IRL and because exclusive when CART died in about 2007) inho is not as good. i tried getting into it this season but just couldn't watch a whole race.
