800's to end in 2011

Then stop the sook talk and tell us in detail wtf your point is cos so far you have said nothing to state your case.

You laughed at geonerd for talking about bigger rods yet i prove to you thats a viable option. You say it wrong but cant say why
<

You say 750 will be as fast but cheaper than an 800 or 990 to get the power out of. But again you dont tell us how or why.

I think it is you that is arguing just for the sake of it.

What makes everyone think that in 2012 we will see a gas tank or exhaust on the bikes?

(excuse me while I dodge all the rotten veggies thrown at me)

Possibly not far wrong there Trav.

ANyway don't worry about the vegies being thrown, if you catch them they are actually free vegies

For me, the use of production based engine should be an OPTION, NOT mandatory. Teams should still be able to produce and use purely prototype lumps if they could or if they choose to.

Engine capacities may be setup like:
- 800cc, 6 cylinders
- 900cc, 5 cylinders
- 1000cc, 4 cylinders
- 1100cc, 3 cylinders
- 1200cc, 2 cylinders
- 1300cc, 1 cylinder
Or they could fix it to 1000cc and be done with it.

Keep the minimum weight the same or maybe combine rider + bike weight.

The production derived engines could be modded up to the teams content (or the capacity of their bank accounts). It doesn't matter. I just don't want to "spec" anything more in motogp.

This would open up door for independent frame builders to join as they could just pull up any lump from any street bike or buy/lease one from an engine supplier and go racing. Engine manufacturers may be enticed to enter the sport, or even engine tuners. Kawasaki can come back giving free ZX10R engines to those willing...

Maybe manufacturer will eventually abandon their prototype engines and focus on their street lumps which in the long run will trickle down to us mere mortals.

Let them keep the electronics if it makes them (manufacturers) happy. Just give them more liters of fuel.

As an added incentive for us, have them race an additional feature race after qualifying, using same spec production bike supplied by someone (ex BMW S1000R). Each rider/team still score points which is added to the points they score in the actual Motogp race.

Or, maybe WSBK can step their game up and let the teams modify their bikes until it no longer resembles any similarity to the street bike it was based on (bar the fairings) and have them go racing. Motogp will die and we'll only have to follow 1 racing series.

Quote me, where did i say about putting in bigger con rods in your ridiculous suggestion of 750's in motogp bikes to save money ?

Geonerd said about bigger rods and you laughed at him. I proved to you that normally con rods are 2 x the bore but larger/longer rods can be used. i also whent to great lengths to explain the advantages and dis asvantages to this. Your come back proved you dont know anymore than the average jo about engines, and your to arrogant to except you were wrong. not one person in this thread agreed with you. You made no effort to prove your case, you instead just irritated people by flogging your dead horse. SO PUT UP OR SHUT UP !
