250cc

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (teomolca @ Nov 10 2005, 04:38 AM)<div class='quotemain'>Lots of movement in the 250cc

Honda's lineup is completely changed, with Pedrosa gone to MotoGP, Lorenzo and Barberá gone to Aprilia and Aoyama gone to KTM (this is a shocker, I thought Aoyama was the next Honda boy).
Puig team has signed Porto to sub Pedrosa and Repsol to sub Movistar.

The Pog is back in 250 with KTM also (the Austrians are trying to establish themselves in this category with force).

Aprilia factory has signed Simoncelli, I guess this means they dump Corsi, who has been the worst factory rider of the year. It's good for Simoncelli, the 125cc was too little for him.

Wow that is interesting news......The Pog on KTM lets hope he improves again for the forthcoming season as he is still a very talented rider. Good pairing there with Aoyama San.

Porto may be a chance to go for the gold.

Any news on what Antony West is going to do seeing as it looks unlikely a ride for KTM?

West has been offered a contract as a test & reserve driver by KTM, but if something better comes up he will probably take it.

Debon has signed as a test reserver driver for Aprilia factory, he will take part in 4 to 6 races next year with official machinery. No more privateer Honda.

Who will ride on the preposed Repsol Honda 250 machine alongside Porto? I don't know Dovi's contractual obligations but Honda would be stupid to let him slip away as they have Barbera and Lorenzo.

Simoncelli crashed today during testing at Valencia, unfortunately he broke his collarbone. Hopefully he will be healed by the time the season begins.

Lorenzo set the fastest lap in 250cc and Gadea in 125cc.

Today Lorenzo crashed and broke his collarbone! Those 250cc are wicked machines!

From what I have heard he is remaining in 125s to defend his crown. After that I would assume he will be joining Repsol Honda 250 Team,

Thats a real bummer, I thought he would have a been a real shoe in for a Honda 250 ride. Oh well maybe next year

Thankx Ooost

I haven´t heard anything about Lüthi, and furthermore the factory teams are already complete in 250cc so I think he´ll stay in 125cc one more year.

Take a gamble and lift him all the way up to GP on the D'Antin bike.
Still pissed off about that hoffman thing
