2015 Red Bull Indianapolis GP

Road Atlanta is a great track. Only raced there once. The paddock facility is a joke - but the track is really fun. Has two of the scariest turns of any track I've been to. The blind right hander at the end of the long back straight before you go under the tunnel and the the right hander at the end of steep drop down the hill where you turn onto the short front straight. I raced it with the original turn at the bottom of the hill where - if you ...... up - you hit the wall; the one that Miguel Duhamel bought it, forcing them to finally reconfigure the turn. Every time I started down the hill and thought of the wall at the bottom - I thought I would .... myself.

The other track that really should come back at least for AMA racing is Mid-Ohio. That sucker flows so beautifully, and it's a hard as .... track to learn. I never understood why it got taken from the calendar.

Oh yeah.... .... Indy - bring back Laguna. And have a great time folks!

Good post Keshav. Im in agreement with all your points. What irks me about Indy is not only the ........ cookie-cutter afterthought track, it's also held in a ........ cookie-cutter afterthought city. There's something magical about driving far out into the countryside to some tucked away gem in the hills or the woods. Tracks should be as organic as the landscape around them not some pseudo interstate in the middle of a city. When I go to the track I don't want to see a ....... Starbucks or an Applebee's, I want to breathe in the landscape and vibe with the atmosphere.
.... Indy and .... Willski

Was thinking that as I wrote the post but it just didn't come out. Road Atlanta is basically a semi-rural setting but conveniently close to the center of Atlanta - so an easily accessible venue for the fans.

And Mid-Ohio is exactly what you described. It's in a lush rolling county setting; almost expect to see a couple of guys in golf get-ups come out in some of the turns and play a few holes. Kinda makes you feel like yer at the Kentucky Derby.

Ah yes - Innovative Arby's. Every day expanding the definition of what we call "food". Don't worry - now yer a PS regular - you're on our health plan. Even now I hear the pockets being rifled for change to pay for your next colonoscopy.
