Hayden will be in GPs next year

Not according to Hayden:

"I don't just want to run around and try to get a point here or there."

What TF has he been doing for the last seven years, then??? He's been averaging 6.7 points a race for quite a few years now... That's 9th/10th. There's only a couple more places left till he's getting "a point here or there"... and he's been there, a lot.

Two seasons in the top 5 out of 11 seasons on factory bikes. I'm amazed they took this long to give him the bum's rush.

Assuming Calvin the Eternal ..... leaps headlong into the bottomless morass that is Ducati, I wonder what Herve would say if Haystack offered to ride the Tech3 bike ... for free, maybe even splitting promotional $ with the team.

I think Herve would want someone capable of getting podiums regardless if the rider offered himself for nothing

He would probably say 'no' b/c one of the seats basically belongs to Yamaha and they expect Tech 3 to keep it filled with upcoming talent. Smith is the Tech 3 hire, I believe. Smith would have to go for Hayden to ride on a Yamaha, IIRC.

I can't be sure, but I think Hayden's only real chance to stay in MotoGP is if Honda throw him a bone and allow him to swap seats with Bradl. Imo, negotiations with Crutchlow would need to fall through for Hayden to end up at LCR with factory support.

Jumkie's gonna be pissed!  (When/if he recovers from the post-Laguna hangover.)

I find it really hard to judge just how good Nicky is, since he hasn't been on a proper bike since 2006.  Would a T3 Yamaha dispel the near-suicidal gloom that has settled over our favorite Hillbilly?  I'd like to think so, and suspect that he could manage occasional podiums.  Could he do as well as Calvin?  Well, maybe not; but I'd like to see for myself, one way or another, just for curiosity's sake.

BJC you should lease him your old works 500. It would be great to see a Wiki sponsored bike out there

Pantsdown, you should offer him your mouth to park his motorhome in. I'm sure he would get used to the smell.

Apart from the world-championship-winning Honda that he rode in 2007 and 2008 for zero wins, do you mean the non-proper-bike that gained a world championship, 23 race wins, 46 podiums, 21 poles and a ton of fastest laps? That bike?

His team-mate at Honda managed 4 wins, 18 podiums and 7 poles in that period, he managed one pole and less than a handful of podiums.

No doubt other riders would have wished for such a couple of uncompetitive rides...

I'm talking about the Midgetmobile, the Pedrocycle, the Joke Bike that made Nicky think someone was pranking him when he first sat on it.

It's the bike that was developed specifically for Pedro, the midget-dwarf (or is that dwarf-midget, I can never keep them straight.).  The bike that was never (IMO) properly reworked to accommodate semi-normal human riders.  Haystack's engineers installed some bars, a seat, etc, that allowed Hayden to (barely) squeeze onto the damn thing, but he could never get the weight distribution and dynamic chassis response he needed.  Any chassis refinements that Honda did make were per Puig's request.  Martinez and Hayden were left to "make do."

I think Pol got signed for 2015, not 2014. If Cal leaves, T3 has a 1 year vacancy.

Also, unless Bradl podiums, HRC ain't gonna be happy.

We will know everything by Aug 1

LCR would love another bike if they could find the money

Gresini wants a production racer for Redding

Good point. It was the clown car of GP bikes :)

Oh BS....the rules changed for everyone not just Honda.....everyone had to get used to the new bikes.....

saying the bike was too small is just an excuse by Hodor fans for rubbish 2007 performance....

Yea only the haters were blind to the fact that the 2007 Honda was built for a midget.

With the exception of running your mouth/keyboard. Can you do better than him on any given motor vehicle??

We already know that Nicky gave your woman a pearl necklace, ...... your mother & sisters & ..... slapped you on the way out..............

Perhaps and "interesting offer" that hayden talks about could be from Suzuki?  Just sayin' that maybe he would go to them for next year to test it and make it his then race for 2015?  At this point who the hell knows?  But I will say that despite all the hate on here for Nicky, the guy is a workhorse, he can win, he just needs a bike to be more suited to his style say errr umm like Rossi.  Regardless, all these guys deserve to be in GP except RDP.  That guy should have been gone long ago.  If it is a french rider they want go get one, anyone but RDP.  It would be cool to see him stay in GP if he is on something that can compete.  But I agree with Curve, we need more bikes.  That is a big point.  There are only so many bikes that are really capable of winning week in and week out.  Bring back the tire wars and let's get busy!

Would his religious beliefs allow him to do that? Perhaps the Baptist church allows Indulgences? Must be where all that Ducati/Marlboro money goes.

Undoubtedly. Can you?

And unless I'm mistaken, neither my mouth nor a keyboard is a motor vehicle, but given your obvious lack of worldliness, I'm prepared to let it slide, this time.

Sounds like we have a Nicky fanboy all upset at the lack of respect.

This is what came to mind when I read your post:
