2012 Supercross Season

Daytona Race was a mess...but Stewart came good. He's still got a huge point deficit to overcome, and that will be hard with the fact that Villopoto is riding extremely well. Villopoto shows he's not quitting by remounting from dead last to finish 5th in the main. Speaking Villopoto, I laughed so hard when he rodeo'd his bike to the ground.

He wasnt about to let go was he. How do you figure James Stewart. He falls in 8 of the 10 races, then doesnt put a wheel wrong in the most treacherous condititions you can dream of and dominates.

That was just crazy conditions. Well done to Stewart. Can't say he was pushed too hard when 2 of 4 main competitors are out injured and the other goes all cowboy on the first lap. Even though conditions like that you have to have maximum concentration 100% of the time so props. Good to see the old bloke get a podium.

Stewart says he wants to beat McGrath's all-time win total, but it's going to be tough going if he keeps making mental mistakes. A lot of people have thought he would have more championships by now.

Damn, Indy was a strange race for the Lites guys, never seen anything like that before. Crushed for Roczen, but stoked for Wharton!

450 class is becoming the walking wounded! Damn Bubba...whatya gotta do to put two weekends together without breaking yourself off?

Did anyone see the single file restart in the Lites race. First time in history i think they said

Yea, that was wild Pov. I've been watching SX/MX for a long time and I've never seen that before.

Great battle between Metcalf and RV. Haven't seen Metcalf ride like that before. RV just makes it look easy after that.

It was. U know, i use to not pay much attention to Metcalf, but after watching Inside the Outdoors, i took an interest in him (aswell as Milsaps). I really enjoyed Metcalf fighting back RV. It shows how all these guys really want to win and put it all on the line. It also showcased just how good RV has got. With most all his competition gone (Stewart, Dungey, Reed, Canard) RV doesnt have to risk getting hurt for a win. But they have that spirit to push, like blood to sharks, once in the race, its on.

It's over boys! All we can hope is a battle developes with Millsaps, Metcalfe, and Brayton. Stewart should be back on he bike in Houston.

Yea, really anti-climatic wasn't it? Stewart lawn darting himself every race is getting to be the norm.

Contrats to the young German Roczen for getting his first SX lites win, well deserved.

Looking forward to the outdoor season to start. Anyone care to take pick the fav's for that series?

I fully expect RV to win the rest of the races. Well done, and congrats.

yep congrats to RV....he is definately above the rest.

Good on Metcalfe deserves a pat on the back.

RV take the outdoor title as well.

RV the fast and most consistent SX rider in the world. Wish they would stop calling Stewart the fastest.

Heat 2 was awesome race. Windham threw down against Stewart and nearly came out on top, unfortunately he came out in bandages!!

Bring on the outdoors.

Sad that the championship has already been decided. Not to diminish RV's accomplishment, he did what he needed to do and stayed out of the infirmary unlike his rivals.

Anyone watch the Seattle round?

Lites West championship just got a little more interesting. Sorry Pete...but when Eli put your boy on the ground I let out a .... yea! If you give, you better be prepared to recieve.

The battle in the lites was fierce. I didn't think Wilson had that kind of riding style in him, but he ...... up because it bit him in the .... I was rooting for Dean, but he asked for it, and the gloves came off. I hope he's ok though, because I want to see the battle continue. Best man should win cleanly. It sounded from their interviews that neither wanted to race eachother like that, so I hope they gather their emotions and battle it our cleanly.

Wtf Villapoto?

Congrats to Andrew Short. I like to see genuine joy of winning your first race. It looks like he is liked in the paddock, as many other teams came to congrat him.

NEWSFLASH: Ryan Villopoto out for the season. ...., just in time. All the top contenders have been injured this season. Thats crazy.

NEWSFLASH2: James Stewart announce he will race the outdoors.

Jum's you got a link for Stewart? Last I heard he was trying to get out of JGR contract and race for Team Suzuki, all rumors of course.

Bummed for RV, I thought his injury was worse than they were letting on. Just hope he takes the appropriate amount of time to fully recover and come back strong!
