2012 Entry List

No worries here Birdman.

Crying "spoiler" is one of the most childish things in modern life to me .........
<

If the "spoiled" were really worried they'd not turn on the TV,radio, internet, newspaper etc.etc.etc.

When is it ok, to talk about events ?

The cry "No spoilers" is just some wibbers way of trying to impose their life on yours. In this case Jumkie is just pissed with you so is trying desperately to score some more "internet points". If he had a real interest/passion in racing, he would not give a toss when he heard the results, just so long as he found out ASAP.

Or just go to the ....... race, it was in his backyard.

yeah its still more fun here than on crash....
<

i wonder where haga will end up though, wouldn't mind seeing him race a aprilia crt against de puniet, espargaro etc.

If any of the CRT teams are going to get close to the factory teams Aprilia may be the ones to do it....

Its a shame there arent as many Japanese riders in the championship as there were a few years back. Haga, Abe, the fireball brothers etc etc...those were the days.

Oh great! ...... Spoiler Squigg.! I was waiting to count for myself how many Japanese riders are actually in the championship then do the comparo myself!

Gee I can really see what Jum. is on about now!

<
<
<

Actually you are right its a damn shame. So many Jap manufacturers so few riders.

2012 is not looking good for Ducati again.

From the tests obviously they had no great speed otherwise they would have been hailing Checa as the second coming, as they used to with Stoner when he went out and blew away the old track record.

And on the Rossi working to try and learn Casey's skills

<
he has a long way to go yet.
<

I think Arab has been coaching him on the corner entry
<
<

0.47 to 0.49 ....... not sure most folk know what they are looking for but thats what Casey does different ( an Aussie dirt track thing ...... but he's doingit on a GP Bike!!
<
)

See the two small puff of dirt emerging almost sideways from the rear tyre, and no actual rooster tail ....... means he's hit the brake to transition the slide ..... the throttle should have been cracked as he transitioned here instead. Its a leap of faith I know but the end result is that you have to keep it up by increasing throttle, hence taking the corner scary fast and effectively making the apex seem earlier, or low side if you chicken out with the rear brake.

Also he hasn't got the use of lean of the bike .... Pasini does it a bit around 0.30 -0.34, but they aren't really moving fast enough for it to be real useful.

If I'm not mistaken also ..... maybe someone knows this track? but is that surface marble taillings or something? looks good.

.... me!Hilarious thread.Human nature dictates that you`ll all be glued to the screen come raceday, whichever bikes are racing!!Laughing my ... off here which is nice instead of going mental in the off season.Quality guys!!LOL.

What no comebacks ? Same .... different year.

Im starting to get a complex of being the only person on the planet who doesnt qualify as a Moto GP rider.

http://www.crash.net...ino_pietri.html

I ride with guys on Deals Gap who have personally spanked this guy in AMA events, and he is a GP rider.. Someone needs to stop the insanity.

<

I know this dude and some of his crew personally. He's not MotoGP quality, I'll give you that. But he's not slow. Chaz Davies had better results then Pietri but many times finished outside the points in the AMA, and that dude went on to be a world champ in WSS.

Name two guys you have ridden with that have spanked Pietri in the AMA. I'm curious.

I have no idea, it was some WERA guys from Georgia who ride in AMA events at Road Atlanta. They were talking about how they spanked a lot of the regulars including Pietri.Even though he wasnt a contender, his name was synonymous back then with damn near killing Roger Lee . None of these guys are slow by our standards, but on the world stage, he is slow. Chaz showed a lot of talent in AMA when he constantly had that pig Aprlia up towards the point end of the field. I will admit im surprised he won the WSS championship though.

Wait, you have no idea? But you spoke so authoritative. Did you just say "I ride with guys on Deals Gap who have personally spanked this guy in AMA events, and he is a GP rider.. Someone needs to stop the insanity."

So you ride with these guys but now you don't know who they are? Not much credibility in your statements then, eh?

Well lets see, either you're real guilible and naive to listen to people you "ride with" telling tall stories, or you were just talking out of your ..., neither of which are good my friend. Lets see if your authroitative claim holds any water, shall we?

Going back the last three years Pietri raced at Road Atlanta would be 07-09. In 07, he entered into SBK but had a DNS. Maybe that's what they were talking about when they said they "spanked" him, right. I guess in their book they also "spanked" Roger Lee, because he also had a DNS. In 08 he suffered a a couple of mechanicals, but so did Neil Hodgson WSBK champ, so maybe your mystery rider buddies "spanked" a world champ too, eh? What about 09, his race one result was was 15th, not great, but not bad. If you look at the list of guys who beat him, maybe there is one or two guys you wouldn't recognize if they had their helmets on, I'm assuming since you follow the sport, everybody else you would know. Except, none of those guys are "WERA guys from Georgia", so...that pretty much eliminates everybody you supposedly rode with.

So since we don't have too many races results to go by, how about qualifying as a measure of who "spanked" Pietri. Well, as you can see, again, you would probably recognize everybody in the group that out qualified him, since most all of them have been AMA regulars, none "WERA guys from Georgia". So the only guys who beat him are AMA regulars with decent budgets. Btw, don't look at the speed trap times, Pietri was always significantly down on power.

As to that "pig Aprillia". Well, I remember you were one of the most vocal and outspoken critics of middle weight 600s having to compete with 1000cc+ liter bikes. I remember you even boycotted, like you've now threatened to leave GP (excpet be an avid watcher on TV). Some boycott. So that pig 1000cc, like all the crap you talked about the 1125R Buell, was now a pig? Wasn't the Buell a pig too? Would you like to begin rewriting history too? Just as reference, check out 09 qual times between Chaz and Pietri, and hell, check out 07 Scassa compared to Pietri (who ran with Chaz in WSS).

Two on both counts your credibility suffered a bit.

So you rode with guys who "spanked" Pietri, but you don't know who they were, oh but wait, they were WERA guys, who don't appear in the time sheets ahead of Pietri. And you boycotted 1000s running with 600s, specifically the 1125 Buell, but the Aprillia 1000 was a "pig".

Would you like to proceed or concede?

That guy can't be put on a GP track!! Look how fat he is!!

At least Casey won't hurt his fist
<

Even after a punch each time he laps him ( thats 4 punches )

.... me thats dangerous !! They better make rear vision mirrors compulsory for CRT teams

Wazzup, Jum?

Is this just a severe bout of off-season crankiness, or did Mrs. Jumkie send you to sleep on the sofa, all alone and unloved?

Either that, or you are REALLY bored.
<

In any event, it seems that most of your recent posts sound something like this.

Lighten up, Bro! Remember, "Love thy neighbor," and all that ....!
<

( Given how slow this dude is, doesn't it seem somewhat reasonable to assume that LOTS of people have kicked his ... on-track? Is it THAT hard to imagine that one of Pov's Dragonbuddies is a gifted club racer who has bested Pietri? )
