In that case, seeing that Nicky and Vale both had identical lap times, maybe Hayden is an "alien" too?

there's still only one "alien", and it will remain so until some of the other riders can match Stoners technique and speed.
Rossi first touted that Stoner was "from another world" .......... the 4 aliens is merely wishful thinking on the part of other riders fans.
I think it was Edwards who then defined Stoner was, from what Rossi said, as an alien.
No other rider in the field has been called as such by the other riders, ergo ..... they are not aliens.
Perhaps when they are leading in numbers of wins, and are unfathomably fast, they will truly become aliens.
Can't see the trainspotting reference as being very apt too, its a lame movie about lameass kids ....... just how different are these kids from even the slowest GP rider
