2011 AMA Supercross

worked for me also Edwards!

Great race, was good to see Bubba stay upright, especially with the all the pressure from RV. What a season its shaping up to be!

I was giving you props for posting a link so our Euro friends can watch as well. I wasnt busting your balls

A case of your reputation proceeding you buddy.

Well, looks like it turned out to be a typical race. Somebody fast wins, Reed cruising around hoping the leader will crash. Looks like its gonna be a good season. Its basically a three horse race for the title, Villopoto the favorite, with Stewart and Dungey the challengers. Like you said, James didn't have the speed, but I don't think we will see it this year. I was a bit annoyed that Villopoto had Reed in his sight and didn't pass, but like you said, he might be playing it safe. I'm sure he knows Reed isn't a real challenger for the title and is looking to Bubba as his ultimate competition for the season.

On another note, the new crop of 250 graduates, Weimer, Hansen, etc, they look to be developing nicely.

Not a betting man Jum

Hahaha, yeah ok. Whatever.

Anybody else unwilling to put their money where their mouth is?

I bet Reed will not win the title (baring an event missing injury for either Stewart, Dungey, Villopoto). Any takers?

I'm going to say Villopoto for the title...I don't think JS7 will stay on the bike enough again to win the title this year. Reed will be there...who knows about Dungey too...

Congrats to Villopoto. Big ups to Bubba racing though the pain and busted up ribs. Reed, once again, cruising around hoping for the front runners to crash.

The heat races seemed the most exciting. What was up with the crash fest? Crazy ....!

What happened to Hansen?

Also, anybody got some news on Canard and the other guy (forgot his name).?

I think Hansen's front brake was damaged in the run to the first turn, and he decided not ot continue.

I've not heard any additional news on Canard and Ryan Morias, just they both have a long road to recovery ahead of them. It sucks because a healthy Canard would have made this years championship even more interesting.

Cycle News has an interview with Canard...6 month recovery

Heard he asked Jesus what the F was going on ........... but he is still waiting on the answer! You think the constant stream of broken body parts would have given him a hint by now, but you know, those American's and their complex!

What a finish to Rd6. Down to the wire thanks to lappers. RV solid as. Reed consistently there and almost taking it. Stewart consistently eating dirt. The guy obviously has an IQ deficiency because you would think he would have learnt by now that staying upright is kinda important for winning races. It is looking like it is RV's championship to loose and if he does loose it then it will be the great Aussie, Chad Reed who scoops up the awards!

Don't count Dungey out just yet. The Katoom with it's linkless rear suspension didn't work too well in San Diego which happened to have the longest and gnarliest whoop section.

yeryer but one thing for sure is RV and Chads bike will be on the money just about every race whereas the katoom will not have this consistancy.

That was a seriously gnarly whoop section.

I count Dungy out because he doesn't have the animal in him to win. He is just too passive. I think he is an awesome rider.

I think Weimer might disagree with you...lol Did you see that aggressive pass Dungey put on him in the main....he was like "get the .... out of my way you ......!"
