Really happy for Chaz. He was always one of the future stars of AMA, but he never quite found his way onto a front running team, and he never quite found the focus to compete consistently. I'm glad his talents are finally on display. He is a future WSBK champ if he can find a good organization.
Also happy for Sykes, who earned his first victory today. Hard to believe that PBM and Sykes are both sacked for 2012. I hope Kawasaki are going to run the team themselves, but I have no idea why they would sack Sykes.....unless they are going to give Davies a chance to rekindle an old AMA relationship.
Nightmare for Biaggi, but glory for Checa and the 74pt lead he carries into the final three rounds. The Ducati definitely appears to have a bit of an advantage, but so far WSBK has had 6 different winners and 5 different winning manufacturers. I think it speaks volumes to how good motorcycle racing can be when it's about set up and balls, not fuel efficiency. If WSBK had prototype engine and prototype chassis development, the sport would have everything. MotoGP should take note.
