YES it's finally here
<
my dad and me are going to the open paddock tomorrow afternoon in assen and see if we can get as many signatures/pictures as we can of all the riders. my goal is to get 2 signatures from Haga, one for my cousin and one for me
<
I'll post pics here too...

thought it would be wise to make the spoiler tag already, cause I know that when I come back next sunday, I would want to share every little detail of what happend with all of you, including results
<

lets hope the weather stays good too
<

<

it rained today on our way back from assen
<
was soaking wet when I got home (which is like, 45 minutes a go) and it looks like we might get some rain on sunday too
<

had a good time, those open paddock days are good fun! saw all the riders, took lots and lots of pics and got lots of signatures! I got 2 signatures from haga
<
which is really cool. bayliss wasn't there, he's injured (he crashed his bicycle during training), but everyone else was here: max, ruben, carlos (found out I'm taller than carlos

Thanks for the photos Marijke.

Unfortunately you have the wrong person as your fantasy man ... that is Josh Brookes, not Robbie Harms!

I'll change it
<

Have fun Mari. If Mr. Cute Guy is bored, don't get to know him. He is probably not a race fan then.

Kenan Sofuoglu - a Jerry Lee Lewis, "Hey ....!" type high voice, or a just loud voice, like I have.

Arie Vos had a huge crash, had a highsider which he could manage to keep his bike up, but then lost the bike completly. He is fine, but his rear wheel broke off, it's still a question if he can finish the race weekend... so looks like we won't have a dutch rider anymore
<

<
you never see Biaggi without a hat on. I thought he was hiding the fact he was going bald
<
<
<

Thanks for the pic's!!!

Nice pics Marijke, pretty dissapointed that you didn't know who Kagayama and Kiyo were.

Should be some great racing tomorrow and where was Biaggi in superpole?

back from assen! had a superb time, got a pretty bad sunburn too
<
<
I even burned my ears! races were ok, race 1 was such a let down when Haga crashed and Ruben going to the back of the grid in the first lap. I was hoping Ruben would win, or maybe a podium place... but good ride from checa and bayliss! race 2 wasn't that exciting (or it could also be because I was SO tired I could hardly keep my eyes open
<
had a good nap on the tribune after the 2nd race), but near the end it got pretty good too. to bad ruben couldn't keep his 3rd place, but all props for checa to ride a very very good (1st and) 2nd race

supersport 600 was FANTASTIC! THE race of the day, a head-group of 8-10 riders, all fighting to get on the podium and to win. awsome awsome awsome
<
I'm even more a fan of joshua brookes now too, he's a great rider. and that Rea dude, what was he on! fantastic how he kept on pushing and fighting for the win. Pitt said he was still in shock, 2 hours after the races finished
<
did I said it was an awsome race already?! might be the best race I've ever saw in real life

on our way to the track we saw 2 crashes
<
one where the ambulance just arrived, but the ambulance broke down so they had to close the entire left lane to sent in the mechanics to repair the ambulance
<
(no serious injuries for the rider) 2nd crash was a bit more serious, bike totall loss and a huge oil leak on the streets. rider was ok too.

I always wonder what it's like in foreign races, do the people in the villages go to the highway too to wave at all the bike-riders???

took some pics, but I wasn't really in the mood to make an effort for it, so sorry for the crap quality
<
