Bayliss had 3 miserable seasons and one great race in MotoGP. what's your point exactly?
His first season with Ducati was quite good, but the lack of SNS hurt him.

Rossi had 2 miserable seasons on the Ducati..............no wins.
Bayliss's win in 2006.....a one off ride as well....showed that a WSBK champ could mix it in motoGP.

Bayliss was a WSBK champ before he arrived in GPs the 1st time, and he didnt win any races.....he had to leave an come back to win in GPs....
