No. Povol's point, as is always his wont, is to obfuscate his previous statements. He has, since at least 2010, complained about CURRENT and future MGP to the point of claiming he would boycott the sport if CRTs were brought in... Still watching Pov?

I sure am, and like i said from the beginning, i will always watch, but will boycott going to the track if Dorna runs off the factories in favor of CRT's or any other reversal of current performance. As of right now, the bikes are capable of breaking records, and do. Take that away, and i will no longer spend money to go to the track. Is that clear enough for you, or do i need to get out the crayons.

Actually not correct,Foggy won more races on the RC45 in one season than Slight and Polen did between them in two years even beating John at Assen, not bad going for a guy out of his depth, when John won the title there was a lot of wet races and even he admitted had it been dry Foggy would have been gone as the RC was a pig but John was a master in the wet,and Carl did finish forth in a grand prix on a Cagiva, i think your short changing the guy by saying he could only ride the Ducati go look at him on the island on a Yamaha,if your going to compare lets see how many of those GP boys broke lap record on the island,oh thats it NONE.

Polen only rode in WSBK for one season - on a Ducati.

Honda - and Slight - only started in WSBK in 1995. So Fogarty winning more races in one year than Slight did in two is a bit dubious - Slight won three, Fogarty won four.

Another way to look at it is that Slight won his first race at only his and the Honda's fifth meeting. Against the might of Kawasaki and Ducati and their multiple-year champions.

I guess it depends what slant you give it - if you are looking to find fault, it isn't too hard - especially when you disregard the facts in favour of playing with numbers.

Kropo called Casey Stoner supernatural.

Definition

Supernatural: of pertaining to or attributed to Ghost goblins or un earthly beings, eerie, occult

Facts indeed

supernatural |ˌso͞opərˈnaCH(ə)rəl|

adjective

(of a manifestation or event) attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature: a supernatural being.

• unnaturally or extraordinarily great: a woman of supernatural beauty.

Seems appropriate to me

All wrong as usual as you have no history in the sport, some of us were actually watching at this time and not just using Wiki for facts.

Before you try and pull my post apart as usual get your facts right, Polen rode the RC45 in WSB in 94 (no wins) and Slight who started in WSB in 91 won on Kawasaki (albacete 92) (monza 93) before he moved to Honda and rode the RC in 94 no wins /95 2 wins /96 1 win.Fogarty 96 4 wins.Your usual short sighted and badly researched crap. Now you will pick me up on spelling and punctuation as you are a very sad little man who i said in another post is so easy to work out and very predictable.

MOTOGP - The story is bigger than the racing

WSBK - Racing still main focal point

Honda and Slight - together. I didn't say Slight only started racing in 95. It looks like Wiki would have been a better bet - the data at WSBK is ......

I used to work with Aaron - I know his racing history. I've followed it closely, but it's been a while since 1994... things get blurry. No doubt you are working from memory.

And yes, you are right - got it wrong on Polen. That's what comes of expecting WSBK's stats website to actually contain valid content.

As to 'having no history in the sport' - you have no idea. But, good comeback - nice to see you are awake.

Really? is that why you said he won his first race in 95.

And records continued to fall. Amazing isnt it.

The MSMA took 5L of fuel out of the tank, and they reduced capacity by 20%. You barely batted an eye b/c the MSMA promised to spend more money and develop more technology. Dorna raised capacity by 25%, increase peak hp by 25 horses, but somehow you decide that MotoGP is trying to slow the bikes down and ruin the spectacle.

You are a walking, talking, case-study for baby-boomer consumer psychology. Self-destruction is the end goal. Latching onto the teat of the powerful is a survival skill.

I don't like technical restrictions any more than you do, but your interpretation of current events beggars belief.

You really do have a comprehension problem dont you. I will say it slow and loud for you. DORNA HAS PROPOSED NEW REGULATIONS THAT WILL SLOW THE BIKES DOWN STARTING IN 2014. REV . LIMITS AND SPEC ECU. . Now if they somehow manage to keep the status quo on performance after that, i will be happy. But they have physics working hard against them.

Tyres and fuel pov. All they have to do is change the tyre and fuel specs and your beloved records will continue to fall.

BTW as MGPS speeds and records progress to the point of overcoming current track safety I guess we just build new tracks?

We know. This situation has been our reality since 2007. You were drunk on the false promises of the Japanese factories so you barely noticed when the MSMA reduced fuel capacity by 5L and cut displacement by 20%. When those rules were implemented, experts opined that the sport would begin a downward spiral, and unpleasant restrictions would result.

The world as you understand it now is the world we have been living in for over a half decade. It might as well be 2006, and you could be telling us about the dangers of a terrorist attack on the twin towers. Thanks, Rip Van Winkle. Our indifference to your doomsday predictions is obviously a sign that we don't get it.

OMG!! MotoGP is about to be slowed down and ruined forever by political end fighting over terrible rules!!! OMG!!

Uh, didn't we have this discussion in 2007? Were you too busy dry humping Soichiro's statue?

Book by Kurt Vonnegut where the government legally makes everyone wear devices that artificially make them neither less or more competitive than the lowest common denominator human.

Think you mean 'Harrison Bergeron' (the story, not the author). "Welcome to the Monkey House" was an anthology.
