I think Dovi has performed better than Nicky over the last few years but they aren't far appart, i wouldn't be surprised if Hayden got the edge again. I don't really see Dovi winning a title in motogp, i think he is less likely to be champ than Pedrosa or Spies, let alone the riders who have already won it.

The total number of riders suck, but the depth is impressive. As far as quality up front, this is the deepest talent pool i can remember in Moto GP. Finishing 5th-6th is an accomplishment. I agree that Dovi is not likely to win a championship any time soon. Spies showed he was the superior rider on an inferior machine when they went head to head. Dani is faster, and we know Stoner, Lorenzo and Rossi are faster. I think Dovi finishes 6th in the championship next year.in front of Hayden in 7th , and behind Rossi in 5th.

Agree - in essence. What I'm saying is that Dovi still has the fire-in-the-belly. Hayden, not so much.

Dovi's confidence is still on an upward arc - and with the number one Honda underneath him - he

could be a more serious threat - but with Spies just coming into his own and all the aliens still in play

Dovi will be a senior citizen before he gets a chance to be the leading man.
