I would have a magazine up against the screen of my laptop to cover everything but the link to the race video, so I wouldn't see who won. Figured I wasn't the only one.

I just visited motgp.com...headline story reads "Dovizioso collaborates with GAS for new range of jeans" .... me

I haven't yet found a free plug-in to watch wma files on a mac, and don't really have any reason to other than this. worldsbk.com is a really crappy website anyways...I wish I could re-design it for them.

The only sbk racing I've seen is on youtube. I watched the highlights from race one and two, and it looked like great stuff! I want to get into it, but the website is a huge hindrance.

On the other hand, I'm probably going to be heading over to the Miller Motorsports park to watch the racing in person this year, so maybe that will get me hooked

Anyone been to a race there yet?

I'm a Mac guy and use the Mac Windows Media Player plug-in and you can find if free.
I use it for all kinds of stuff.

mac users.... wma files will play in quicktime if you download 'flip4mac'. also, on a mac the the motogp website works much better on firefox. i might pay this year. im mostly interested in wsbk this year. the wsbk website wont stream in the usa. need to find a torrent site for wsbk that will work with mac.

Hey guys! New to the board, but not the motogp! I went ahead and bought the package and figured I could capture the videos & watch them on the big (42") TV. But, I haven't found the right software yet! Tried like 5 different ones, which (usually) captured youtube vids fine, but not the motogp! Any suggestions? I just want to be able to burn the vids so I can watch them later! Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for helping a n00b out!

hi mate welcome to the forum

in past season's with motogp you had the option to watch in an external player, i used realplayer last season and recorded some races but mostly used it when video wouldnt stream properly on motogp.com site... but guess what.... now you cant use external player (without warning) so we have been screwed over yet again and im furious... if i have to watch lagged buffering races this season i will get a plane to spain and boot ezy up the ... in person.

as for recording the streaming i used screen recorder pro that i got off p2p which was ok.

maybe some of the other guys around here cant give you some better options.

Thanks for the reply! I'd just SO rather watch the races on my big 42" than my lil 22" computer screen.
