Not sure who catches my eye for raw talent after Mr Motorcycling retires

from my UK Point of view

i'm looking at Scott#45 coming good

i think bradders wont go higher than moto2

i will support them all Taylor Danny Etc

BSB

Moto2

I Hope Superglue does well not sure he'll go to motogp after his wsbk record

Iannone fast wrecking machine

MotoGp

i like a rider that goes for it,one that's willing to take that extra yard to get the job done

many of the field are getting on in age,so soon we'll have a lot of young guns coming through

at this time after Vale retires i'm more interested in the sports future

rather than getting a new homeboy to suck up too

WSBK

Laverty had a good run Rea doing ok Leon got the experience but cant see him coming bk into motogp

as keshav says lascorz

Lowes had a good test

EDIT:

who'll master & ride the 2012 bikes to the top

i cant see it being a Marques/pedro

WSBK Rider ?

MGP - it's gonna be The Pie Man - that he's an American is just a big plus.

I kinda like Sofa Glue on the 600s tho I hope Joan Lascorz makes it up to

that class before long. I've been consistently impressed by him.

TY.

Pieman still got to grow on me.

Sic hmm looks a crazy mother a good 2011 might get him some more followers

match time Gooners v Barcelona

Pigsh, you guys have had decent countryman to support, but most of you Brits decided to go with the Italian bandwagon. Why such a big list> Just get behind the Brits? I swear JT had more fans in the US than he did in the UK.

i Supported JT From the off and got his gear and gone out of my way to meet him and attend events he's been at

looking at the BSB Rounds when your walkking round many do to this day support him

Cal is next

Brits are my first pick when looking at times results etc

the list is a general look at who might come through to the top, mainly to get feed back on a unknown that might make it

the Italian thing is not general support for them all

its just coincidence by following at kid that caught my eye in 96/97

Future stars? Sic, Aoyama, Spies etc are are great but they are already at the top of Moto Grandprix.

Among the younger ones I would bet on:

Marquez

Redding

Iannone

Media-wise, I think Redding could be the one.

(PS: But why should one wait for Rossi to retire to root for younger riders? Is there some incompatibility issue?

Ok, well, I felt Brits didn't really get behind JT. I think he deserved another chance. BTW, have you seen the vid of that chick defending him? Hahaha

Well you guys have Cal Cruchtlow. Despite him turning down just about every opportunity to ride a GP bike he ended up in the series. So if I was you, I'd go out and buy a Cal tshirt. I actually think Scott Redding may be a better rider than Cal, but I don't think we'll know until they are on the same series with near same equipment.

Marc Marquez is amazing, and given his talent and nationality, he may go far, but you won't see me with a Marquez tshirt regardless of how many titles he wins. Why? Because I root for the hometown heroes not just the guy winning. I think they have a name for this type of fan...

nope lol i just dont see who is stepping up fully yet to bring the sport forward as the numero uno

i'd like to see a young/rookie do really well

.... the younger riders and and the 125,moto2 guys put on a better show than the motogp gang

maybe thats what we need a fresh mix every race with no one dominating

sounds good

the latest place i joined last week new site. thumbs up

The title of the thread sure presumes an awful lot....

In short, 'll root for the same riders I do today. (I'm not a Bopper!

Stoner, Pie Man, RdP, and maybe Elias if he can run respectable laps.

I don't mind J-Lo, but am not a huge fan either.

I'm afraid Hayden is on his own. Rooting for him is like chasing a girl you'll never catch. Eventually, the pain and disappointment overcome even the most fawning adoration and you are forced to admit defeat. If Haystack can prove me wrong, I'll hoist a beer, but the infatuation is over.

Hairball may eventually grow on me, but for now I see him as a reckless, disrespectful twerp. I do appreciate his knack for adding some excitement to the otherwise boring 800 parades.

Colin and Loris need to be put out to pasture. (See Hayden remarks.)

I can't help but dislike Marquez, he reminds me of Justin Beiber - a 100% synthetic product created and managed by greedy, corrupt power mongers. Yea he's got some speed, but AFAIC he's nothing more than Pedrobot, Rev 2. Blech!

Probably Scott Redding who I am already a fan of anyway, if he makes the big class. Other than that Maybe Spies and the Hopper if he returns.

from the current motogp field, i say Stoner and Spies...and simoncelli on the side, hehe.

from the young guns climbing up, im not sure yet.

and goatboy, thank for the Luca Marini link...cutie!!!

Pigeon for now Rossi has at least two seasons left & who says he will pack it in then?

For now I.d just stick with him. See how Cal get on with the tech three yam & keep an eye on Scott Redding. Personally I think Scott is the best prospect that us brits have for now. But hope that Cal proves me wrong. In the meantime its just a case of keeping an eye on the youngblood thats coming through 125s & moto3 next.

Alternatively do we have any youngsters coming through the spanish leagues like Bradley & Scott did? Because I think thats where the future talent has to come from because of the lack of youngster racing in the uk.

Failing all that mate. Just pick whoever you admire the most when Rossi does eventually go.

Simoncelli, Spies, Aoyama & hopefully Crutchlow are the ones for me in gp

We have the British 125 championship, which bred Casey Stoner and a few other world class riders kicking about. But it's nothing compared to the Spanish championship, they have it covered.

As far as future Brits go, Scott Redding looks more promising all the time. I was there for his home win in 08 and would love to see him go far. It's easy to forget how young he is too. We've just had a few new boys come into the 125 class, the best of them seems to be Danny Kent, riding for Ajo. There is also Kev Coughlan in moto2 if you like Scottish people. He just came 3rd (or maybe 2nd) in the CEV moto2 championship so he must be good.

All in all things are looking up, us brits have plenty to be getting on with and soon we might be able to support our favorite british rider rather than just anyone with the right flag by their name. I will always root for the brits, but i don't really like Cal, but he looks good on the bike and thats what really matters i suppose.

Besides the Brits i like Marquez because i've always liked the Spanish riders and Marc is mentored by Alzamora, the Spanish rider who started that trend for me. After that i like anyone who is a character and offers excitement on track, or more than the usual PR crap off it.

i've come to like iannone, folger impressed me 2009,hope he'll show himself a little more next year

bradl is a good rider, when things come together he's able to fight for the win and i'd love to see some more podiums and wins from him this year

i think the logical thing to do for rossi fans is support the riders who have proven they can ride at valentinos level, that list isn't too long,is it
