(Sorry, headline's wrong! got to be "NON"factory rider!)

What do you think guys?

Will Edwards be able to keep up that high level? Or do you see Melandri stronger? what about the other non-factory rider?

we're doing our own little managergame in a different forum and you have to name ONE rider thats not on a factorybike. I got edwards this season and he gets me the maximum points....for 2010 (which i have to decide soon!) im not so sure wether to take him or melandri...

help me cheat!!!!!!!!!!!
<

give me some hints!

IF He comes over the best non Factory rider will be SPIES.
<

He might get some under the counter bits too lol

Melandri,
he will go back to Gresini and set the world on fire. His motivation will be being #2 ride to simiochelli and to re prove himself after a disastrous episode of his career.

interesting you all have different opinions!

bautista will ride for suzuki! factory bike!

i have edwards AND melandri on top of my list!

do you see the gresini honda stronger than the tech3yamaha...just considering the bike!

i dont know...

maybe not but look how strong melandri has been on the kawasaki engined Hayate. That bike has no factory support what so ever. Melandri was good on the gresini honda before, i just think he will have a new found motivation next on the honda year.

gee: hehe, okidoki!

chopperman: i get your point! but who really knows... i think melandri is one of the best 6 riders in GP but perhaps the hayate was the "luckily it fitted perfect to melandris style" kinda thing....

i think he WILL be strong. stronger than simoncelli (im quite sure, just a feeling) but the strongest nonfac. rider...hmm....i just dont know if edwards will be able to keep up that momentum from 2009...

i'm gonna go with Melandri. Edwards is a good pick also and with Spies, well, we don't even know if he will be in the series next year and he may need a year to get comfortable with the bike, but i think he will be pretty good with Tech 3.

Hard to tell at this point. we don't even know yet all the riders that will be there or how good will the bikes be.
Melandri will be with Honda and Gresini with whom he achieved to be runner up, but nowadays Honda is nowhere near as good as that one.
Simoncelli is one fast ............ and he's got the lack of ethics to push out rivals and HRC support (he is directly contracted to HRC not to Gresini).
Whoever gets the 2nd Yamaha ought to have a very good bike, but who will that be? if it's Toseland I'm not betting on him, Colin seems to be clearly better, but maybe someone else gets it Elías, De Angelis? I wonder what they could do on that bike.

Really I've no idea, but I really hope it would be Barberá on the Ducati!!

IMHO I think that if Toseland could get a honda ride of some kind, i think he could well start finishing at the top somewhere...

Any one agree?

No

I agree with Roger here. Melandri has a lot to prove with talent to do it, and I think the Honda engine will be strong next year.

agree with babels two posts above. the one thing that might actually work in his favour is the lack of factory support. at least now marco knows that in order to make the bike better, he has to get the setup sorted, not wait around for non-existent factory parts to arrive and cure the problems (like what happened in 2007).

My vote is Marco........ Melandri that is. You know there are to of them......Melandri's that is.

I have to agree. This kid rides a honda very well.

There is nothing wrong with the Honda engine now,it is the strongest in the field and you may be right,it may be even stronger next year. I think Melandri on the Honda will see him in the top 5 next year

It's a race between Simoncelli, Melandri and Spies should he come. I don't think Edwards will be able to hang with the Marcos and should de Puniet or Elias take the other Tech 3 seat I'm not sure they could do it, either. Maybe Elias, not de Puniet.
