Are anyone surprised? Rossi (and edwards to some degree) showed that the Yamaha had a very good chassi.
Their problem were mainly in the engine power department.

Mamola was reviewing the M1 and he says its one of the best things he's ever rode.

Rossi just can't accept the fact that he's not the best rider anymore, and he never will be again.

im sure he rode it at race pace over a race distance

Yamaha at the start of the year had the best handling bike with the least power of any of the contenders. The relative power of the bike did not improve over the course of the year.

Time will tell ...... I don't believe the Yam engine is anywhere near the worst engine out there .... indeed Mamola has confirmed that.

i dont think mamola commented on the engine, that putting words into his mouth.
it's a tractor engine cos its gutless and unreliable (both engines).
would love to no mamolas lap times on the bike

Mamola rode all the bikes ..... why do you say the yam has a bad engine?

Thats why unlike many of you Rossi bummers I can identify the fact that he has over exaggerated so many things this season, and why I can see he isn't the best rider on the grid any more.

Rossi in my mind is nearly as bad at running his mouth as Biaggi was in 2005, only Honda don't take .... from anyone but Yamaha treat Rossi like a god. Why do you think that he is on Bridgestones next year and Lorenzo isn't? And why do you think they'll be in seperate paddocks?

The sooner Rossi is out of the paddock the better because then we will have proper fans watching the sport, not Rossi bummers, and we'll be able to appreciate the sport for what it is.

Theres something about the yamaha it always looks visibly slower than the other bikes, maybe its because it doesn't make alot of noise but theres definately a problem with power delivery.

yep edwards sais it brakes and turns awesome. i wish i save the utube link somewehre.

also when rossi was only a few points behind after the first few races, he said his bike would dominate in the mid season, smaller Euro tracks.

that never happen, stoner in fact extended his lead and he was the one who dominated.

then rossi had no ran out of excuses, or so we thought, then started blaming yamaha and michelin.

yes but those excuses are obviously "furphies" ..... ( Wiki it )

So we have Rossi on a Fiat with Tractor Control, turned up moderately high, ... towing around a Furphy or two ...... not a good setup for motgp IMO

All praise the all powerfull, all knowledgeable one! I have been a foolish Rossi worshiper for so long just because I like yellow.

I repent all my sins. Get rid of Rossi quick!

For someone who knows more about motorcycles than all the rest of us, thats a pretty crap post. Please give us more of your unworldly knowledge, and don't just tease us with snippits.
