LIVING IN NORTHERN IRELAND WE ARE NOT SHORT OF RAIN I THINK ITS A GREAT LEVELER IT GIVES THE LESSER RIDER A GOOD CHANCE OF COMPETING WITH THE WORKS TEAMS..
I ALWAYS SAY A WEE SPOT OF ADAMS ALE SORTS THE MEN FROM THE BOYS

i don't like riding in the wet even when i'm just riding casually on the road. it puts the willies up me.

the entire WSB field was lapping faster than most 'normal' people could lap in the dry - i take my hat off to them all.

it is very impressive what all of these guys can do in the dry never mind the wet be it Moto GP, WSB or whatever.

I couldn't believe the lean angles and touch downs they were still getting, especially at the slow left right before coming onto the main straight. Awesome skills and awesome tyres.

I think wet races are very exciting, and excellent variable to throw into the racing world. The skills it takes are hugely admirable, and the results can often be exciting, random and down right amazing. However i don't think races should go on at the expense of safety even if the weather sucks. Even though cancellations are a pain.

After watching Race 1 on TV when I got back, the circuit looked much worse than after the 30 minute delay of clearing the circuit before they decided to cancel Race 2.

the drainage at silverstone is terrible, water just sits on the circuit in puddles.

riding in the rain just ..... me up. you cant see anything because of spray and visor mist, you not sure how much grip you will have on the corner coming up or weather you will manage to stop intime when you need to and the little rain drops feel like stones hitting you in the bare neck at 100mph.
how these racers do it at the speeds they do is beond me.

really really scary ....!!!

that's why I love it (from the safe distance of course)

that's true mistery to me... how the hell they know where they're going???
