Its why politicians can get caught in lies and corruption and nothing be done, as it will get lost in debates and spin by all the peeps who do their bidding. That quote hardly can be dissected for any deeper meaning, its plain and simple, and impartial people know what he meant very clearly. Carmelo acted as Valentino Rossi's personal agent. He brokered a deal to get him away from Ducati and onto a Japanese factory. It happened, and next year the facade will be re-established to its full glory.

I remember Lin Jarvis at Siverstone making no secret of the fact that the door was still open at Yamaha...in all likelihood the precise machinations involved in securing Valentino a factory Yam probably date back to the close season. The official line is that Valentino made the approach to Yamaha himself. I think this is in all probability window dressing in view of the fact that Dorna tend to be less than transparent - although the script is so obvious sometimes a brief synopsis of the plot may as well be published pre-season. Most of the time you just have to read between the lines to glean what's going on behind the scenes.

Purely circumstantial evidence. Would never get a conviction based on a broad statement such as this. It does not even imply that Dorna was involved - that is speculation that arrives at that conclusion. It does imply some knowledge that something may be in the wind but not direct involvement. Enough however for the story tellers and essay writers to have s field day.

We have had a season were we have seen people push to the limit and pay the price,Danny has come of age and impressed,ive just watched the NW200 and seen guys put it on the line for a few grand and the love of the sport,weve also had a season of one guy riding around getting beaten by so called b string riders and now being lapped and beaton by CRP but taking millions in the process. What a ....... disgrace.

Casey is not my legend. if you had a fraction of a brain you would read at the beguining of this thread started by me that Valentino was.
