Marc doesn't know how to ride steady and that might just be his undoing (but I seriously doubt it).
I'm hoping the pressure gets to him and he finds himself fighting for fourth place with Cal who in a final flourish, before 2 years of disappointment, sticks one on him and he finishes in 5th, handing the title to Jorge only to have Rossi pip Jorge on the dash for the line giving the title back to Marquez who thinks he's lost it and is busy crying harder than Pol Asparagus peeling onions in Gordon Ramsay's kitchen.

Lets hope the weather throws in a curve ball just to spice things up even more. Either Jorge or Marc would both be deserving winners.
Jorge missing Sachsenring & being injured for a couple of other races has hurt his title chances no end. But Marquez has been super impressive as a rookie.
Jorge needs Vale to step up to give him a chance at the title, but Valencia has never been one of his strongest tracks. Lets hope for an edge of your seat thriller.

I don't mind the Marcha Real, I just wish they would post the words somewhere... everyone always seems to just hum along...

No words to the anthem. That way no one ..... it up when it's time to sing it! I can write down the made up words we sang as little kids...
Few years back the tried making some words for the anthem, but there are so many "nationalist/separatists" that there was no way to make anyone happy. There is not much unifying patriotic pride in Spain, except for futbol, and it's a bit sad that way.

I think the whole concept of national anthems is stupid and a relic from history. There is no real point in it these days. There all crap tunes and very few even know the words. Some really do show the country's shady history in the lyrics. I seem to remember some controversy once about a countrys national anthem. It may have been a world cup or something like that and one of these old eastern block countrys anthem basicly sung "piss us off and we will invade your country, we will .... your women and kill your children. we will drive you into the sea". The English anthem has been re-written a few times. Its over patriotic xenophobic crap .This verse was once used ..

some more dubious parts.
