What you have to watch for is Ianonne. He can kill 2 birds with one stone, or wreck if you will. He is not off the hook by no means for taking those precious points off Rossi at PI. In one instance he can win Rossi the title and endear himself to Italy and Rossi fans around the world. He could become the heir apparent just by losing the front on turn one, woops, my bad, racing incident.

I doubt anything that happens at the front will be deemed a racing incident... everyone will believe that it was done on purpose. If Marc loses the front going into turn 2 and takes out Lorenzo and Dani, people will say he did it on purpose to prove he wasn't helping Rossi.

Get a clue - JLo won't be anywhere near the front. He will steer clear of MM as well. He's not THAT stupid.

If he's not going to be near the front, what the .... are you crying about?

Well, this is an unfair race, for sure and JL will win the championship but will go down in history as the LEAST deserving -

- Yamaha helped JL win
- MM helped JL win (odd MM allowed JL pass and "fought" with VR)
- NOTHING is fair about the rulings

JL will win - does not deserve it, but will win the championship.

And since JL is already arrogant (has said so himself) - his arrogance will now reach sky high!

The most interesting race imo would have been VR vs JL straight up with a points difference of 4 or 5, so that Jorge finishing 1st or second while beating Valentino would have given him the championship. Had he been unable to do this then he would not have deserved the championship. If Valentino had been able to finish 3rd or better at Sepang by legal means to have a lead of 7 points or more that would have reflected how much better he was over the first 17 races and no one including Jorge or his fans could have any cause for complaint either, of course.

It is in fact Valentino himself who has deprived you of what you wished to see by pulling that stupid move.

Dammit what kind of Pandora's box did The Doctor open with his conspiracy theory crap?! :furious:

My frustration is not directed at you, just the possible shift in thinking from fans, inspired by VR's accusations.

FWIW, I think Rossi might just do it

That's what I've been thinking too. The gap in talent and technology between the Yamaha/Honda riders and everyone else is real. Lorenzo needs to finish in the top two to be safe, IMHO.
