I know we are still 3 or 4 months away from the Turkey GP but I was wondering if anyone has any information on the new circuit. Are there any track maps or aerial pictures or any course descriptions? If anyone knows anything about it I'd love to hear about it.

Good deal.

ooost i as wrong on the big straight its only 720 long . log onto motogp.com and click calender tracks and it gives u a brief look.

Is Turkey a big biking nation then? Or did sponsorship money bring motoGP to Turkey?

Should be interesting though

Yep. Def good for the sport.

The track looks a bit like qatar from the air, just a bit more flowing like Jerez.

Should be good

No real big straights but it looks very flowing and rhythmic. I like all the right then left or left then right combinations, any time the rider has to flick the bike around it makes for good viewing. As far as if they are a motorcycle market or if there is just sponsorship money over there I'm not sure. To my knowledge I don't think they're a big market but then again I don't know. The way it sounded to me was that here is this new state of the art track which needs to host world class events to turn a profit and decided on landing MotoGP last minute. I'm pumped for it.

Ill try and find some up to date ones as these were taken around March time..

F1 are also scheduled to race here on August 21st so should be interesting to see how the cars handle here also.

I wonder who has paid for it.........it is a government thing like the Shanghi circuit was? Why do we (UK) get stuck with a goverment that does bugger all to promote motorsport...........remember Silverstone & F1 last year?

for sure its about time we had a new super track like china, qatar, turkey, because they r all state of the art and pleasure to ride i bet..

As nice as it would be to have all these new super tracks there is something to be said for the old guard. There is a feeling of character that the track holds and as a fan it makes it special to be there, at a place where so many memories and records have been made or broken and whatnot. Obviously that feeling of character is much higher being a rider there than it is being a spectator but I myself like going to older tracks.
