Good review. Here's mine.

1. Rossi - still the master in all ways possible. Best ever at head-to-head. Best ever at dirty tricks. Best ever at getting the rules changed. Best ever, imo, at winning.

2. Stoner - you fell off and still got second. I'm not sure I would consider today a loss. The ugly side of your racing habits (250 childishness) rear its ugly head when you attacked constantly out of panic. You almost reminded me of a certain Spaniard who also sucks at racing anyone/anything but the track.

3. CV - congrats. Back to back podiums on an awful Suzuki. That's quite an accomplishment, I'm going to be upset if you don't get a good contract somewhere.

4. Dovi - welcome to HRC. Enjoy Dani's team.

I don't know whether I should be happy for him or pity him.

5. Hayden - solid effort on unproven equipment. Top 5 is really all he can hope for at Laguna this year.

6. DePuniet - too little too late I'm afraid. These types of results could have saved him.

7. Elias - pretty good considering he doesn't have a suspension tech and Laguna is bumpy as all hell. I hope he can go somewhere and achieve decent results again. I'd like to see some others try their hand at the Duc.

8. Spies - should never have let Elias pass him at the end. All-in-all it was a decent run. Solidly in the top ten and he beat quite a few regulars

9. Toseland - not great, but 10x better than Edwards. Solid ride

10. Nakano - still better than DeAngelis. I hope he gets picked up by the satellite Ducati squad next season.

11. Hacking - 11th on a Kwak and it was his first ride too. Pretty good. Still not as good as RLH though.

12. Guintoli - he's trying but he needs to ride in WSBK.

13. DeAngelis - he'll probably get renewed but it's obvious he needed to stay in 250 for at least another season.

14. Edwards - WTH was that?

15. Capirossi - retirement is calling. He's getting too old. Go to WSBK and smash some kids around on a production tractor.

16. Melandri - I'm glad normal service was resumed. I want to see Gibby at Brno. That's a strong Ducati track, what if he wins? Really all he needs to do is try to get in front of Valentino and Pedrosa.

17. West - he needs to do something else. Kawasaki have gotten their bike so wrong it's embarrassing. West needs to find a ride he can win on. Where he finds it is irrelevant at this point.

DNF - Lorenzo - thanks for the show
