Casey Stoner's retirement effectively gave Pedrosa a life line. Zarco's choice to go to KTM seemingly gave Pedro a life line...or not.

Looks like the pressure is on. Interesting that Honda via Darth Puig made the stunning point that Marquez would have an influence on who is picked. If I were him, next time one of these ........ "journalists" asked me a question, I say, 'I'm grateful to Honda for giving me the respect of seeking my opinion, however I will offer none, it's their decision and theirs alone, I don't want any part of it.'

Sorry can never see this happening, Alex is just too unpredictable every time he gets on that VDS machine, plus he rides like a rookie, no idea how to look after a bike and its rubber.

Kinda sad Pedrosa is going to just disappear like that. It needs some sort of fanfare or fuss made about it. Hes been a pretty good rider to watch.

But will he? I think he will go on to be another test rider and I think he'd do well as he's got far more experience than all of the other test riders.

I said this when he first signed to Ducati that I wouldn't be surprised to see him at HRC once his contract is up.

Definitely unlikely but might not be the worst move.

Youd think hed have a spot somewhere at HRC. Mind you he probably has heaps of long service leave and a huge pension payout.

I hope the young MM says to them when Rossi goes that he's not interested in their bending the rules to make him the next custard kid. Maybe they should plumb for someone like A.Asparagus, who certainly needs all the help he can get
