Broken fibular and tibia and it happened even earlier than the warm up lap, it was on the sighting lap.

Get well soon Guintoli.

Get well soon Guintoli.
Brookes looked mortified, Jack Valentine took a more pragmatic view, and was already trying to suggest which meetng Sylvan would be back for

Saw it happen Tom,may as well give the title to Leon now, even at this early stage.Guinters was his only opponent of worth imo.

Neil Tuxworth stated the brakes failed but they were ok when the bike was checked in the pits, weird.

I never saw race 1, but race 2 was pretty good. Great to see Andrews and DaCosta right up front until Julien dropped back near the end. Great riding from Gary Mason again on that old Honda.
<

And BSS was awesome right to the last corner - so good to see Young get second, even though they have DQ'ed him for an underweight bike.

Think ya right Drill. I couldn't make Monday, but went to qualifying on Sunday and Camier looked very comfortable and quick all day long. Only Guinters put him under any sort of pressure at all.

Guinters injury is a real blow for the championship this year. Get well soon !

So dissapointed this happened to Guintoli. I have a slight feeling it will be a bit of a Camier/Yamaha party from now on....

Terrible to see Guinters taken out of the running. I agree with Drill, sad to see Guinters out as he was the closest match to Camier for the title chase.

Race 1 was a bit of a snoozer with Camier, Ellison, and Easton checking out and the spacing out until the finish. Some good battles in the top 10 however.

Race 2 was a lot more exciting, although not good to see Camier stop due to some random problem, electrical? He had to stop to reboot the computer?

Great to see Ellison pick up his first win. Another solid ride by Easton, and happy to see Walker get up on the podium. Good race between Andrews, Richards and De Costa until De Costa had a tech issue. Also glad to see Harris not pick up a bad injury when his engine blew oil all over his back tire. I always freak out when I see that happen as you know the first corner they take it's going to be bad.

Even though Camier looks to be the favorite for the title, the championship is full of action with plenty of guys getting up on the podium.

And to those that went to the race, how does Donington look as far as readiness for MotoGP?

Thruxton

First time I have seen this track as well. Quite unlike other Brit tracks, Thruxton appears more level with flat corners. The run off in the corners looks a bit dodgy as well, but this could be just what I saw on TV. It reminded me of some of the eastern US tracks. Very different then the roller coaster ride that is Oulton.

Race 1
Camier showing he is the clear favorite for the championship. Ellison doing a great job sticking with him and great finish for 2nd. Easton also showing his position in the championship, top Honda. Simon Andrews had a great ride on the green machine for 4th.

Race 2
Repeat of race one at the front, but a stellar ride by Josh Brookes for 3rd. Josh also had some real nice things to say to Guintoli in the post race interview. Top notch guy Brookes. I have a feeling we will start seeing Brookes up there more often.

Walker had a nightmare weekend, after doing so well at Donington it was terrible to see him having bike trouble.

Impressive ride by the "stand in" Rutter, he comes in on an unknown bike and takes two 5th place finishes. Good showing.
