hi all

this is my first post!



ive been a fan for years, been to donnington and silverstone but never travelled.

i would love to go abroad and experience another circuit and culture of the local surroundings. but at the same time i would like it to be cheap as possible, good hotel close to circuit and if its easier to drive i will but i dout it!



i dont mind going for the weekend and im willing to travel on the thursday and go home on the following monday, or if anybody advises me to just go on race day that would be cool.



hopefully ill get some great advise, ive just become a member and you will notice im a rossi fan. ive looked at visiting san marino and visiting his fan shop but ill wait to see what feeback i get.

Valencia is very accessible via public transit.

Hotels downtown aren't that cheap but bunk 3 or 4 in a room and it makes it affordable.



I always say that Indy is quite affordable,

once you get there, as always, you bunk with 4 peeps in a room and the whole weekend at the track

will cost you about $400 in a VIP suite.
 
I've just checked a hotel 10miles from cataluna with satellite,wireless, breakfast for one person 3 nights €160.

£88 flight

£60 weekend ticket.

Just got to get myself from hotel to track and back.

I`m going to Catalanya also by myself, I have booked my flight and motogp ticket, not hotel yet and Rossi fan too

Travelling to the circuit is something what I have to figure out too.
 
Guys Just get there and have a motorhome/rv booked to drive to the track campsite!

Job done! Just dont forget to pick up the beer!!!

Roll on Germany! Thats how we will be doing it.

Me Matty and Lyndon (you met them at silverstone WSBK) are flying in on the thursday morning. UBTA is picking us up in the RV.

I think I still have some RV rental companies details if you want them.

Hopefully get to hook up with Cliche too.

good atmosphere there??

where ever i go i was going to drive, flights take the piss these days. £170 to barcelona!!!

I haven't been to germany before so cannot genuinely say.

However what I can say is no matter which track whatever the weather there is always a good atmosphere.

Read the silverstone 2011 meet up thread. You will get the idea

The trick with flights is to decide where you want to go the following season as the season ends and dates are released and book them then.

Birmingham Munich return £88

Just remember to take insurance to change dates if the race is still TBC.

yes silverstone defo! bought tickets last month for the weekend. i would like to try and get some for day of champions, i believe motogp are selling them this year.

told the missus ive left it too late for a european race unless i drive to le mans for the day. you cant get hotel for luv of money within 50miles of the place.



silverstone only 50 miles from home so will be driving, but no beer

just hope rossi dont break a leg missed out on photos last year.

So your going to commute daily?

Pack a tent n sleeping bag and get on the campsite.

There's going to be a good group there this year especially if we all get together in the same spot

i would love too mate but im on my own.

im trying to find a campsite for le mans but its a nitemare.

ide love to mate but i cant find a hotel thats free and because ive never been before i dont want to risk taking a tent and not finding anywhere to stay.

there's always the car but no shower!

not going to catalunya now. i mite camp at silverstone for this year and next year be more prepared and get a hotel close to track!
