The BBC team (minus Matt Roberts) suck anyway but jesus, watching that jenny was about as exciting as watching paint dry. She presents like she has no clue and not even a particular interest, i found it quite laughable.
The BBC will never invest in making the MotoGP coverage better. If they could move it all to the red button they would.
Which is why it angers me they got the exclusive live rights. I don't know whether that was Dorna forcing the issue for more money/viewers or them bidding for it, but either way you're right. The BBC couldn't give two hoots about bikes, i just thank goodness that our shouting about it worked though because i'm afraid if I was forced to watch/listen to those pair of idiots they call commentators well.. I wouldnt.
Couldn`t care less anymore,I`m just grateful we have SOME coverage at all.The BBC have treated motorcycle sport as an afterthought for years.......I say bring back the Saturday afternoon scrambles on Grandstand or the Shell Powerbike races on World of Sport (remember them? ).
My understanding was they didn't even bid, but Dorna said the rights had to go to terrestrial TV (which would fit in with your more money/viewers theory).
I do remember Carlton Kirby and James Haydon filling in for Toby and Julian. James i like, as he knows his stuff from a rider's point of view. Carlton would be asking what someone was doing and James would reply 'he's changing gear'.

Why would I want to hear anyone wishing Rossi or any other rider to crash?
No, I'm not saying they shouldn't mention him at all. I'd just like somewhat less focus (positive or negative) on him. At any given race, there's usually more than 15 riders out there who are not Rossi, but somehow Cox and Parrish are oblivious to this.

The tell tail sign is that it was in upper case, had it been in lower case, I would have confused it with one of Talpas posts.

I liked her. She is a fellow Sotonian like myself as was Benny hill ,Will Champion,Craig David to name a few. She was no better or worse than Suzi Perry imo.

I agree, i think she did the job just as well (or not) as Suzi Perry but i found her much less annoying. I really didn't like Suzi Perry.
