~Chanchan, thanks for the info, so when are you leaving then? Are you gonna be there monday/tuesday?

Looking forward to your reply from the lady that you are staying at the campsite! Hope she comes back with some good news! Fingers crossed!

We are staying in the centre of Valencia, we get the train in everyday, it's not a bad ride in. Hope it is still going on the monday/tuesday, even if we have to sit outside the track and listen to the bikes LOLOLOL.

Yeah with the DoC thing, you can get tickets on the day, but you have to queue up and that is mahoosive, plus it's only for the pitwalk, if you want paddock, your name needs to be on a list, then you get there, and pay the money and get your ticket/tabard in, plus extras. But yep, you can't get into the paddock unless your name is down. We did this last year. Didn't stay for the testing though unfortunately, but hey there's always a first time lol.

Spoken to riders and managed to get our names down for Valencia

Bad news though

she has quoted that they will not be in the paddock or pitlane this year as the teams are arriving late from a fly away.

they are still finalising the details and will publishing the programme shortly.
we are lucky enough to have found a house about 2 clicks from the track to stay in and can walk in every day.

We are arriving on the Wednesday and staying until the tuesday evening to catch thr sponsor day and the official testing day.

Thanks Chanchan

Glad you got your name down for DoC in the end, well whatever they do is gonna be a bonus isn't it, so will wait and see what happens. Thanks for the update though!

Have you found out anything about the testing days yet?

I got my name down as well but no idea exactly what for
<
They just told me the programme was different this year and I would be sent one when it was ready.

hint to Riders that is why you have a website- you tell people you are finalising a programme so they stop emailing and calling you
<

drags up threads from the depths of September

Somebody put the question forward to Toby and Jules and their answer was:

There will be testing at Valencia on the Monday and Tuesday after. And it will be proper testing, so no journalists riding around on bikes but instead Nicky on the Duke, Dovi on the HRC and everybody on Bridgies.
<

They weren't too sure but thought it was open and free access.

Also got an email today from Riders. No paddock and pit lane access this year
<
<
but they do have a ride-in VIP do with a JT recital and extensive meet&greet. Also a normal DoC with autograph stage and Q&As and an auction at the end of the day.

According to Toby&Jules you slip the security guard a €20 bill
<

No idea and that is a bit of a bummer. It is the same for the winter testing at PI actually.

I know that PI is private testing too because my Ozzie mates have tried to get in
