I've resigned myself that race direction does not exist in AMA period. How the hell they can issue a lame flag violation in heat of 3 positions, which he didnt deserve in heat, but for sure did deserve in main race (if he did violate a medi flag, should have started from rear or docked a lap.) But then Villopoto completely ignores medi/yellow flag in main event and nothing? I saw it as the actioned happened in real time, while the blind and horrible commentating team completely missed it until replay. Like i said, i dont much expect it anymore, there is no race direction in AMA.

Congrats to Hahn. Wilson .... start cost him win.

Congrats to Villopoto. He was the fastest rider no less, just stupid he violated a rule (though he proved there really isnt any enforcement during races) . But if there was rules and enforcement in the AMA, he would have been sanctioned. Supposedly the race would have to wait until end of race to know if hes sanctioned? Is there no ride through penalty?

Anyway, other notes, Looks like Steward is still recovering from injury. Canard has faded back.

Getting tighter at the front. Ole moe has flipped Millsaps the bird.

Yea, the non-call by the AMA has several up in arms, I question what the penalty would have been had the re-flag not stopped the race, would they have docked him positions?

In any case the championship has heated up a little.

I was having a conversation with JK about this and neither of us knew and are to lazy to look it up?  Not sure how they can "start from the back" penalty if the start is all one line, or is there such a "start from the pit" or a "ride through penalty"? God knows.  And most likely God only knows when they would deem a penalty should be served.  They allow Barcia and Reed to torpedo people at will, Villopoto blatantly ignores a medi flage, that is a flag with a big red cross on it, and if that were not enough, a couple of yellows to boot in the main even, but they get their nickers in a bunch when he was already passed a yellow flag in a 'heat' race?

Normally I would create some compelling arguement as to how the Ama ...... up and things need to change but Villopoto won so .... it.

Daytona this weekend. I was going to try to make it my 1st SX ever but the stars didnt align.

I may miss the 200 as well cuz those .... Jumkie and Willski blew me off this yr for some tiny race in Texas somewhere

Well Daytona SX starts 7:30 EST but I have a sports confilict.  The UNC/Duke game starts at 9:00 ugg... I'll hopefully watch my Tarheels beat Duke then watch Daytona.

On top of that I loose a fricken hour of sleep tonight with daylight savings time...time to move those clocks forward an hour.

the 450 lcq was ....... sick!!!!!!

It was, until the AMA officials screwed it up.  WTF, an visual overrides a transponder to three-one-thousands of a second?  Leave it to the AMA to embarrass itself again.  We still living in the dark ages...on purpose.

Ok, congrats to Villopoto.  Hope FlukeSapps framed his red plates, that will be the last he sees of them.  (Though secretly I was rooting for him).  Dungey solid ride on the SX equivallent of a GP13.  Nice shortcut Barcia.  Oh yeah,Two Two Sports, that was an awesome superman seatgrab in the main.  Except this isn't X-games.

Wilson, what happened?  Well done Hahn.  I really can't get myself to root for a Frenchy, but ok, Moosecan won.

Yea that last chance LCQ in the 450 was crazy, why are the transponders not the final word on the finish?

I was happy my guy won the 450 race, Villo was flat out getting it done.  It would have been a better race had Dungey been able to hang with him in the beginning.

250, wow, did anyone else see that jump Marvin Musquinn got out of the gate...holy ....! If that kid can continue to get starts like that he will be hard to beat because he's definitely fast.

Dean Wilson...I know he smacked his head hard on the bars during the race and he faded after that, but I think his conditioning needs some work.

Hahn ain't playing, he's in it to win it.

Stewart should just pack it up and move on to Nascrap.  I think his days as a contender are behind him.

Sometimes the transponders are not mounted in exactly the same place on the bike. It wont affect lap times which is what they primarily measure but could affect finishing order. So they go to visual to verify but its supposed to be photo or camera mounted exactly on the start finish line not naked eye visual.

Marvin had bad starts all year, this one was pure fluke imo, just guessed and often that results in a front wheel stuck in the gate. The one frenchy i liked was sebastian tortelli if you remember him, but marvin is obviously talented.

Fluke is probably right, we will see next race I suppose.

I rememer Tortelli, but the Frenchman we love to hate in the USA for years(when I was racing) was Jean Michele Bayle. JMB was the epitomy of smooth, he made SX look effortless.

Damn. Poor Dean Wilson. Get well soon. Hope these are not career ending injuries. Such a promising kid. Sux.

Mdubs...if I'm not mistaken this isn't the first time Canard screwed up scrubbing, it looked to be totally his fault.

Villopoto continues to roll, Dungey looks to be the only guy to keep him in sight, whodathunkit?  Stewey makes one little mistake and poof.....win be gone!

Millsaps....still in there, rooting for this guy.

How about my hometown boy Kyle Peters taking a podium in the Lites.

Dean Wilson may have effectively ended all likelihood of a solid 450 ride next year.

Only had chance to catch up on the 450's I knew I should't have come here before the lites.

Willson is the Scottish kid? Right? (don't get much after race, interviews on you tube, so guessing)

Bummer whatever happened, don't wanna watch now.

450's Villopoto showed class, for a guoire!

Stewart Stall in a rut your Kickstart won't go fully down, pftt!

Millsap's Maybe Jumk's predictions of fading coming to fruit?

Loving the series, finding it really exciting ;)

Yes, Wilson is Scottish kid. He had lots of support. Bummer hes seriously injured.

Well no SX this weekend because of Easter.   With Milsaps looking racy in Toronto, it could be an interesting finish to the championship.  I still think Villopoto has the edge and was just toying with Milsaps till he was ready to pull the trigger.

Still in it with a chance to win it Dungey can also play spoiler should something happen to Villopoto.

I hope all these guys go into the outdoor series healthy becuase that would be very interesting even though I give Villopoto the edge outdoors.

Just watched Toronto.  First 10 laps, best race this season.  Props to Millsaps.  He has the speed to run with Dungy but no-one has the speed to run with Villipoto.  Stewart can't stay with Reed the day before he goes for surgery.  Unfortunately he is just mentally weak.

Don't usually watch the lites, is Wilson ok?
